Do you mostly use the Sand Fleas when serf fishing or do you also use them when your fishing off the piers? Nice video! I don't think we have Sand Fleas as big as the ones you're finding.

Our sand here in texas seems to be very hard compared to yours.. my rake wont dig in like that soft sand you got.

forget if it was pismo or stinson beach but when i was a kid i caught a giant one bigger than a mans fist tons of big spines everywhere or its some species i cant find on google or youtube or a new species maybe.

I just tried this at Moss Landing beach, same tool you have. I could catch dozens of tiny sand fleas, but only once did I catch any that were a bit larger, and NONE as large as what you are catching. What am I doing wrong?

Try going at sunrise and at sunrise that’s also worked for me

Awesome Video. Are sand flees only out at certain times of the year? I’m in Melbourne FL, and haven’t had any luck finding any since I’ve started fishing (June), and even the bait shop I go to said they haven’t had any since October. Thank you.

Nice video, but too fast moving. Not enough time to see the holes you described before you lunged to catch them. Leave the rake and just zoom in on the holes....please.
