Hiya guys, I've fished all my life,on the float mostly. Then started watching des,Tommy, and lee and the way they explained things was great, so started on the method and oh my days guys, I'm bagging up every time I'm at a venue,I've never had so many carp in my net and it's so easy to learn and tune the method, the baiting and prep is easy, in my mind it's the easiest and most enjoyment I've had fishing for years, anybody out there watching this video pay attention when watching and right down the tackle needed, go get it watch how to make the rigs (or buy ready made ones) after you've already tried using the method first and get on the bank, you'll have a great days fishing i promise you. and thank you for the videos to guys 🇬🇧 🎣 ✊🏼

I'm 49 and not fished since my teens. My eldest son is now a teen and we have started going together. Obviously we have limited skills. This video,is the best we have seen up to now with regards method fishing. Des was calm, relaxed and thorough in his masterclass. We both learnt a hell of a lot, especially the prep of the groundbait, and size of pellets to use. Thanks for a superb tutorial. Liked and subbed.

Hi, Just coming back to fishing so doing a lot of research, I understand about using the reel clip to ensure the cast is the same distance each time but doesn't this then take the clutch out of play? If you are on the clip and you get a hard bite and a run how do you give line to the fish? And conversely, if I cast out and then take the line off the clip to allow the clutch to work and I get a fish that goes on a run how do I find my distance again without having to re-plumb etc? Any help gratefully received. Cheers.

That's the main problem with fishing with a clip. I find it depends on where your fishing and what's stocked. If your somewhere where the fish are only a couple pound you can usually get away with it but any bigger and you risk snapping off. I use a tight elastic band, this does the same thing but if a fish runs then the band will slip off. Or you can wrap your line around a couple bank sticks before each cast, clip then remove the clip when it hits the water
