Is it still the thing that size (320 - 420 - 520) difference is only with a spool? (and not with the size of the rest of the reel?)

The body & rotor do increase in size from the 320 - 520.

I love to see you playing carp (for me) the right way Andy. Just… taking time to make him ready for netting. That’s the way to go. I also use the clutch and not the return. It’s wat it’s made for, and it just need a good controle of it with the rod strength and the rate of the line. Thnx

@ 2.33 what feeder did you say ''M-stap'' ??? big feeder with ball of groundbait around it? I am trying to find out,,, WHO was the first person to use pellets on a feeder???? Anyone? Note i don't mean conventional method feeders... I mean ANY type of feeder, i.e. WHO started using soaked pellets and compressed them in any way for ledgering??? PLEASE

  • @UKprestoninnovations

Emstat was the original style method feeder, many many moons ago! We're not 100% sure who was the first, but Andy would have been one of the first to start doing it.

@@UKprestoninnovations Thank you. I am a Designer, tbh anyone can redesign something, twist something to their requirements which is what Andy did. I am trying to find out who had the whacky idea to soak pellets and compress them onto any kind of ledger???? I know somebody must have been the first,,, but finding out is proving difficult.

Started off with a cracking instant win. Have a little guy similar to that in our pond, been feeding it some pro feed pellets now and then, pretty sure it prefers them to the usual floating feed, mind, even the goldfish hoover them up right quick.

Another great video, a very simple tip , leave a long tag on the loop you’ve tied to pass the loop through the tail rubber, simple but saves you using a gate latch needle to get the loop through the tail rubber. Great thinker his Andy . Well done.

That's not true. It was the person who STARTED soaking and compressing pellets was the revolution. Andy just adapted the idea!!! DON'T give credit of an idea to someone who doesn't deserve it! WE ALL CAN ADAPT an idea... It takes a GENIUS to come up with a concept!!!

As a carp angler for 30 years who’s coming back to try this sort of fishing again, the fish care match anglers demonstrate is nothing short of shocking! Lifting fish 3 foot in the air over hard banks and no unhooking mats is poor form. Also bending big fish into small nets isn’t great. The way they release fish is also far from ideal. Carp anglers hold there catch in the water to recover before releasing, not these boys. Lots to learn for me from the carp anglers
