Oneida lake is NY's largest inland lake that is very well known for its walleye and bass fishing. If you happen to ever fish NY it would benefit you to visit Oneida. I'm sure you'd love it. Chuck Paninski

my name is jim costI. I live in northeast Oregon and I am trying to learn walleye on the Columbia river system. the common techniques are harnesses, vertical jigging, pulling cranks. lots of 30 - 50ft stuff down to well over one hundred. bottom has some very plain bottom with barely any structure. sometimes, I will mark fish spaced out over a depression, but there is 2 million carp. I am not sure how to start as I am beginning to learn. 64 years old I have a 175 tracker and 2 Garmin vivid 9 graphs with standard transducer. I'm not sure you will come across this note, but thanks in advance if you do.

On a tough day like that would it be worth while to just start cranking that deep break? Would you ever consider sharing your GPS screen so we can see your structure and how you set up on them?
