Lifelong big bream addict, cut my teeth in the Swan but now Albany based in bream heaven! My pb is a 52cm munter from the Murchison at a spot called Nanny Goat Well, bout 12k upstream mid 90's... lost one in St Helens, Tasmania that was easily bigger, they get up to 60cms odd over there, you gotta see it to believe it! Got plenty in the King and Kalgan on fly between 40-50 but still yet to beat that Murchison horse. If you can get em them small black crabs under rocks along the Swan shoreline are prime for the bigger models. ;) Great vid mate, been binging on your content last few days!

The biggest black bream i caught out of the swan river was in old lingo 6lb on six pound line on 6.6 spinning rod then lost one that would have gone 12lb dropped him just short of the net.remember those big fish are very old and are breeding stock for next-generation it's good see the young fella fishing with dad gooday mate

yea mate a 50cm bream in the swan/canning on a river prawn? You're dreaming. There's probably 2-3 in the whole system at any one time and they'd be the skitziest things. A 40 year old fish'll learn a thing or two in its life time.

So when soft plastics where non existent no one caught big beasts on prawn?????. I remember dad n grandad smashing bream with prawns. I myself have got a monster on corn (not a 52 tho)

@@noelandrews7509 when lures didnt exist there were 20 times the fish and there was more oxygen in the swan/canning. fish could get bigger and there were more of em. They also werent exposed to as much fishing so yea they could definitely be taken on prawns.
