    The ND Filtesr WILL NOT fit the dive housing, since it isnt recommended to use ND filters for underwater diving. Instead if you are diving underwater, I'd recommend to use the Polar Pro Dive Filters! Depending on the water that you're diving in, there is the Red / Magenta filter.

    What would you recommend minimum amount of time of recordings to get the length of videos/clips that you made

  • @AdventuresofRon

    @AdventuresofRon

    3 жыл бұрын

    Great questions Charles! So that depends on the shutter/interval you’ve set it to. For this video mostly it was on auto shutter & auto interval. Most clips were kept running for ~ 10min. The trick here is that you can always “slow” down the clip in post-production to your desired time

  • @AdventuresofRon

    @AdventuresofRon

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hey Ian, sorry to hear that. so here's a couple of other tips 1. Always recommend you to use Night Photo to do couple of test shots before committing your night lapse. ***No environment is the same. But the concept of long exposure photography applies. 2. You want to ensure that you're shooting towards a 'dark environment'. Avoid pointing your camera directly at a light source. DO NOT frame your shot with a 'bight' background (e.g Well lit buildings, LED signboard directly in the background) 3. If you find you footage too yellow "warm", i definitely recommend you to lower you White Balance (cooler) or just set it to AUTO. 4. Keep trying dude. It's part of the process of creation! you already did an awesome job in your 1st attempt - at least now you know what doesnt work on your streets! All the best on your next test! Feel free to tag me on IG - will be easier to advice if i can see your content! Cheers buddy!

    Can you please show a video how you edit these photos into a time lapse

  • @AdventuresofRon

    @AdventuresofRon

    3 жыл бұрын

    well, the tranditional method will be to take a series of photos, then bring them into an editor. Ideally the timing of each photo can be anywhere from 0.1sec - 1sec (depends how long a timelapse you want to create). In this instance, GoPro introduced Night Lapse Video in the HERO8! & Since then its been such a breeze to create these amazing night lapse

Is there a reason to be upgrading to the 9 if I already have the 7? Thank you! I think the only reason would be to use it like you are using it, as a behind the scenes camera, I love those shots!

  • @AdventuresofRon

    @AdventuresofRon

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@LouisLuzuka well with the HERO7 you have HyperSmooth 1 - & that’s pretty dope. Really depends what you want. With the HERO9, not only you get the front screen, you get a new form factor (no need frame, better audio with front mic), but more importantly you get HyperSmooth 3.0. With that you’ll find tons of join in normal video to your timewarps! Another significant upgrade is that you’ll also have nightlapse video!! Hope that helps!
