Vanja Jojic its probably heat damaged. Try to use products to repair heat damage, otherwise you'll have to cut it all off if you want curls again

Literally just done this an I absolutely love it ! I used to just use mouse as my hair is wavy and has the odd ringlet but I tried it jayme’s way and I’m sooo obsessed with how it’s turned out. I can’t get over my hair it looks amazing ! Thankyou so much ! 🥰🧖🏼‍♀️

This is because deva curl have got proteins and humectants (Idk How to translate it into english) and if You use only these products theres not PEH balance. Thats The point.

So long story made somewhat short. I have always had my hair short like pretty close to a 2 or 3 and for the last year and a half I’ve been growing my hair out. I had no idea that I had curly hair! I have the same exact curl pattern as you do (which my wife is jealous of) and I’m barely starting to learn how to take care of my curls. I’m a Mexican male and my hair is almost so dark it looks purple in the sun which makes me feel even more unique. I finally bought a diffuser today the Conair curl collective one with the 3 pattern attachment and I’m freaking stoked to start taking care of them. I’ve never put any heat to my hair and I have no damage to it whatsoever, but I know this will make a huge difference. Your videos are so informative and straight forward which makes me less nervous. I know this is an older video, but thank you for all of the information you have put out into the world. It’s reached a lot of people and is continuing to do so.

Try a denman brush and finger curling to help define and train your hair to curl. Don't use gel until after your done.

I'd just ordered a diffuser like the one you said you didn't like, so quickly canceled and ordered a different one like the one you have. For much cheaper too! Thanks girl! My curls are similar to yours and this is my 3rd attempt at "going natural" - hope it will stick!

@@SophieKristiansen i’m skeptical on getting it as i’m not sure if the medium air setting is too high, (as it doesn’t have a low setting) and don’t want to have to buy a whole other dryer because of that problem that i’ll find.

Same, I don't know what makes that happen but I'm starting to think it may be because of the friction against our pillow when we sleep (?) Also regular fabric absorbs the moisture out of our hair... I'll try a new silk or satin pillowcase and see if that works

I have natural 3b curls but since my last hair cut I have a combination of 3a-3b hair. I thought since my hair is much shorter now it would coil and create these nice bouncy curls but it didn't. I tried diffusing and part of my hair was super cute and the other only coiled at the end and gave loose waves on the mid sections and near the roots. How do I fix that?

I have high porosity hair, what do you recommend I do about the time I wait for it to dry before I use the diffuser, it takes about 3hours for it to really be dry completely just by air , and I wanna speed up the process so I heard about diffusers from you and I wanna see what you recommend

@@amirairazaar9943 I do atleast 2 treatments a week, usually I do apple cider vinegar rinse(every other week) it has really helped with my scalp, and rice water has been good to my hair and scalp thru this too! And for deep conditioners I use olaplex and shae moisture deep hydration. I still havent found a good shampoo and conditioner so I've just used the shae moisture line since its natural and won't hurt me lol

What kind of hair cut do you get to promote volume?

This is me like at the very base of my head it’s a 2c wave and everything else is mostly 3b with some 3a strands and I wish the strands at the base of my neck would curl up more

I definitely need to invest in a new diffuser mine ruins my curl pattern and creates so much frizz. And also, how do you get so much volume? I have a very similar texture and my hair is very fine, so my curls tend to drop after day two or when I put my hair up slightly while I’m in class (I’m also a dancer). Do u have any tips for that ? Or styles that you use for dance that don’t ruin your curl pattern? Lol hellppp

Most things will ruin it if you put it ip and sweat unfortunately! But i like to add a spray to it to help it hold its shape I did a whole video recently on volume so check it out xxx

Hey Jayme. I’ve noticed you use divacurl products on your hair quite frequently. I have watched many videos with people sharing the horrible things divacurl has done to their hair with repeated use and there’s also a lawsuit against the no poo line. I would suggest you watch those videos and draw your own conclusions. I would hate to see that beautiful head of hair being destroyed so please watch those videos and reduce or even stop using devacurl entirely. Lots of love❤️❤️
