Funny how many people that buy these containers and mark them up hundreds when they sell them make it seem like they are the only ones that can get them from the port. Get a Twic card and some paperwork for your vehicle and yes you can go in the port.

Watch Out for by-laws. I just got refused to put mine in a parking lot. Which is funny cause their used for storing house whole goods. Another guy wasn't allowed to use his as a storage shed.

I looked for months and months for an independent seller etc. never found one. Finally bought from today from a company for $2100. That was price with delivery. 40 ft.

Company name?

It is unlikely a local seller and individual selling their old shipping container comes with a warranty either. Better to go with a company that offers a warranty

Hi, we've been trying to figure out how to do option #3 for a while now. We have a couple port options nearby and we have a trailer to move it ourselves. We just can't figure out how to buy from the port. Can you recommend how to buy out of the port in Atlanta GA for example? Thank you!!!

If you call the port, you may be able to find someone who can refer you to companies who sell from there. Generally, most container sales companies will have a list of all their containers for sale in the area, but sometimes inventory changes and nothing local will be available. After I bought the first time, they now basically send me a new sales list once a week. You could probably just ask to be on the list, though.

Which department or number do you call at Long Beach port?

If your buying directly from depo your still paying to much . I purchase from 3rd party venders that is storing containers at depo's and most always deliver cheaper than getting directly from depo in my area.

Any one know how to buy containers directly from shipyard or cargo yards in INDIA 🇮🇳

Local guy has containers. One I’m looking at is a new one trip 40’ HC with doors on both ends for $7,300 delivered. Can I do better?

Where are you looking to get one delivered? I'm a sales agent with a nationwide shipping container company. Our 40' high cube double doors are new one-trip and range from $4.5-$5.5K depending your location. Delivery is minium $500 also depending on your location. Let me know your zip code and I can give you a price. Definitely lower than $7.3K delivered as long as you're within 300 miles of where we work.

I have been selling containers since '2006 and you are spreading false hope. Buy local for the single container and a local container yard will give you a good deal on multiple units. Ports are restricted you need homeland security clearance to enter.

Yes you need a Twic card which is not hard to get.

i am pretty sure you cant just go down to the local port authority and buy containers, to many regulations and if you could you would have to buy at least 50k worth and then have facilities to warehouse them as well as move them. it would be a 500k - million dollar operation and people with business that big dont have time to fool around making youtube videos teaching others how to be competitors. calling BS on this one

They can’t give you a list of places near your house that sells shipping containers, sweetie. lol They can only tell you how to find it on your own!

It's not even hard to get a very cheap one. I would be putting where you can get it in two brackets below one for the name and the other for the where. (Contdor) (lG)
