I decided to purchase a one trip from a broker and paid in full up front hopefully everything goes well, from what I saw a lot of people were dissatisfied with the used ones, not only major structural defects but horrible odors as well. The price difference was 6 or $700 and I figured if I have to replace the floor or repaint it or seal it, after time and materials it’s just easier to spend the $700 and have the peace of mind that it’s going to be in good shape.

Hi Gruff, nice job you’ve done on your container looks good inside now mate, I have 3 old containers I use in my scaffolding yard one is used for a office and the other two I use to store my scaffold boards in so they stay dry , a good investment if you ask me. it's a very good ideea for storing the frames and protect them against the wax moth,but need a fridge attached to drop the temp .

Yes if you were using it for that. If it was just for frames you could get away with not insulating it and let it freeze in the winter

Sasquach must have got loose in that one .I wouldn't have accepted that .I'm buying a one trip 40; container because I don't have time to paint one and have it leak a few years later. A local place has it and not some online conglomerate . watch a video on how they are made in China . The robot puts a sealant on all the connecting panels to make it watertight. Something I won't have to be bothered with for 10 yrs or more

There's enough insulation in there for any heat sources not to be seen from aerial infrared surveys if you did go the dope route, ha ha. That's how the biggest 'farm' in the UK, at that time circa 2003, was found - energy efficency survey - on an ex-airfield industrial estate in the east Riding of Yorkshire. Pob lwc.

Hi Lucy! Container is still sound! I did buy another one in the meantime. A much better one to act like a workshop so I have 2. There is a good guy in cross hands that sell them and he delivers. That’s where I had my second one from. His name is Meirion and has a fleet of blue lorry’s. You can go to his yard and pick the one you want. I can send over his number if you need it, but I think he’s on Facebook under crosshands containers

The container is good to keep the clothe and bags, shoes??? It have good isolation? Bcz i lost the house i do not want to sell all my stuff, i want to keep them but i do not know the best solution is(((. I thought make to buy a wooden shed and to keep in friends garden, it s good ideea?

8’ and 10’ containers can be bought brand new and are not all cut downs.

I think for shipping they can only take 20’ and 40’ to make the most of the space.

Hi I used illbruck pu 230 it’s a wood adhesive but sticks to most material. Did the job 😊
