I forgot to mention the latest trend I've been seeing! Dealers putting mandatory "add-ons" such as an extra tracker, alarms, tint, etc for thousands of dollars! What are your thoughts? Do you have any further tips to share?

All your points are correct to me. I would also say if you find that dealer that is willing to work with you at msrp take the time to appreciate them and know them. I would suggest buying all of your vehicles from them if the brand supports that and make sure to refer the dealer to good buyers you know so they see you really appreciate them for making your dreams come true. This has worked for me and I have life long friends with multiple manufacturers because of it. Great content.

Salesperson - “I’m sorry, we can’t take off those dealer add on - It’s standard policy, there’s nothing I can do”. Me - “Well, there’s something I can do - Good by” 🤣 Don’t ever pay an “Addendum” - Carefully go thru the sales order item by item, DON’T ever pay for nonsense like $299.95 for nitrogen- Just walk away. Canada is like 2-3 years behind the us market still it’s crazy 15-30k over msrp here still! Some 2023 listed for 250-280k! Canadian it’s insane and clearly people are still paying because dealers are still asking. It’s 2024 and I just saw my first c8 in a dealer that wasn’t pre sold coming in lol completely insane.

Wait it out, your fun will wait for you, BRUCE LOWRIE CHEVROLET in Fort Worth has never charged mark ups, I bought my 23 C8 and waited about 8 months to get it and let me tell you, the anticipation rush makes it appreciate it a thousand times more, every day you watch videos and get ideas and gives you more excitement when your time is up, wait it up guys because the anticipation is bigger than the car itself

A problem though with used, is people have horrible tastes. Nothing like finding a good car just to look inside and its covered in funky colors all ver the dash and seats everywhere… im not a fan of super bright red dash and seats or bright blue dash and seats.

I really dislike dealing with dealership. Dealing with me quickly turns into an unpleasant meeting for dealers. Luckily I rarely if ever have to have a certain model right now. Getting it in writing is sooo important. I understood I had a deal with a dealership at msrp (in California) and all they wanted to do was run my credit. Then they said, "we thought we could sell it at that price, but". I got up said, "we're done here." The usual, wait wait we can work something out. Dealerships have no scruples whatsoever! The smile and handshake followed by "we're different" is meaningless at dealerships. It's a gladiator's arena at dealerships.

I wouldn’t be interested unless it could be tuned to take advantage of upgrades. 600hp is cool, but the C7 ZR1 can be modified to make 1000.

ZR1 will be WAY over 600 hp stock. Z06 is 670....No one knows for sure but its likely to be a twin turbo Z06, pushing 800-850HP.

Has to be the best thought out explanation about the market everything you said is spot on. Great video I just got a 24 Raptor R last week had to pay markup but it was on a truck to my dealership when I found out about it so I snagged it up as fast as I could.

Please name the store that I have a chance at a ZR1 for MSRP

No way you aren't paying markup. Last zr1 they made 2900. There are 2900 dealers. Nobody is giving away 50 to 100k on a car when next guy will buy.

ZR1 is going to be over sticker for sure. unless it's used a little bit.

The demand ain’t that high like y’all make it seem. Social media can make a fart 💨 seem super desirable. They make way more even the limited corvettes then people want. It’s no Porsche gt3 or rs no matter how much you want to make yourself feel it is.
