I love your ZR1, my neighbor has a shadow gray one he bought last summer and yes indeedy I'm a jealous man. He's let me drive it and take the wife out for dinner a handful of times with it and man, what a treat it is! Thanks for the video! Let’s not. I live in Pennsylvania where best case scenario I get about 4 to 5 months out of the year I get to drive the car.

ZR1 is definitely the beast of the C7, and truly a game changer. You have done an amazing job with mods and keeping this beauty looking brand new!

Owned a '17 Z06 manual for 4 years. What a great experience. Did all maintenance, fluid & filter changes annually. Only take away is too much power. Made sure I never let it get away from me. Can't imagine driving a ZR1. 😮

Your ZR1 is definitely a very nice car! I own a '15 Stingray with the 7-speed. I considered moving to a C8, but I much prefer the manual transmission. Yes I know the manual is slower but I'd rather keep the manual shifting experience. :)

Exactly this! I couldnt care less how much faster an EV is or an automatic... i will ALWAYS drive a manual V8

Not a black car fan but mainly because they are brutal to daily them. On C7 you just don’t get more menacing than in black.

I would agree normally, but with Xpel and ceramic coating it really makes it as easy as any other color to own.

Such a badass menacing looking car. Was never the biggest C7 fan but as of late I just can’t seem to get enough. Congrats man

I've done just that. 42K miles so far. That's due to the fact I can drive it almost 24/7 and never get it wet. I'm in AZ. Originally from GA. They don't know what rain is here. ;)

45K on mine. In fact I replaced the engine air filter on Tuesday since it's due every 45K miles. (I don't have the Jake air filter).

It’s just me but the math is not mathing!!! 4 years, 3 oil changes, tires that’s just wear and tear maybe weekend warrior. Interior well 4 years and only 16k miles states the obvious. Great video, gorgeous car.

Very nice and you are a wise man and purchased at the right time. I personally like the Z06 ZR1 as i think its the last Vette that looks like a Vette but his will be a gem and collector like you stated. Nice that the interior held up well and your a bigger guy like me so makes me feel good about getting one when i retire in a few.

Beautiful car, I always said that the C7 is the best looking gen and the C7 ZR1 is the best of the best. I loved my '14 Z51 and to this day still think it looked better than my C8's although no one can deny that the C8 performs much better than it's C7 or any other gen counterparts. Keep the Z in mint condition, the fact that it's a MN7 will make it so much more valuable in the coming years.

why not drive it more? when I bought my 91 C4 new which I still have, I put 13k miles on it the first year, just couldn't stay out of it! 91k miles on it now, still brings a smile to my face when I am shifting thru the 6 speed manual.

Thank you. The C7 is definitely my favorite platform to date but with the new Z06, the gap is getting smaller in my mind.

I have owned a 1988 Z-51, a 1991 ZR-1, a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V and now (may 2023) a C7 Z06, 3LZ in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. It's not a ZR1 but it's phenomenal. Thanks for the video!

Thank you! They could be exported after purchase from what I understand but were not legally allowed to be sold directly from GM due to the issues I pointed out.

I have never owned a car for 4 years either. Typical is around 2 years for me. Last year was a record for me buying 5 cars. This year none. Until last week. May be 1 more this year. We shall see.

Met you at Carlisle this year. Really appreciate your maintenance videos and thanks for sharing your thoughts about long-term ownership. I have the 2017 Grand Sport, which when I bought it the wife said "make sure it is the one you want because you only get one :)" Luckily I love the car (almost as much as I love her) so plan to keep it for the duration. (have had her for 55 years)

I just bought a 2015 C7 Stingray and the best thing about the platform is you get the performance and looks like you said but if something goes wrong or needs fixing, it's still a Chevy at the end of the day, you won't be shelling out thousands like you would for any luxury brand sports car. Best bang for buck on the road right now without question.

It really is an awesome platform. Still my favorite to this day!

I had the priviledge of driving a C7 ZR-1 when I worked for Chevrolet and it was one of 3 cars I have ever driven, that legitimately scared me. LOVE the car, but I could only imagine what it's like to REALLY get on it! The other 2, aside from the C7 ZR-1, was a 2014 Gallardo Superleggera and a 2014 GT500 Super Snake.

Can't imagine the performance that the C8 ZR1 "The ZORA" will possess 😈💫

Never had an issue with mine. But have only driven it 4 times. Museum piece to me.

Love this car looks awesome.Justin any issues with rims? Like cracked rims or bend rims. What are the rims of ZR1 made of (factory). Thanks.

No problems at all with the car, including the wheels. They are a flow forged wheel versus the z06 which has a cast wheel and is a lot more likely to crack.

Also! Mad respect to the numbered cars out there. Back in 2005, I had a Black Manuel 1999 Pontiac Firehawk #027 of 700. And I still dream about that car til this day. I will have another soon to bring back my dream and fulfill my mid life crisis 🤣

My friend owns a 2019 zr1, auto, a hellcat red eye, 2020 zl1 and a dodge demon. His zr1 dynoed at 699hp on the dyno. The car is sick.. I have a 2019 a10 zl1. In a race, he murdered me so bad. I then went with a pulley, roto fab, headers and off roads. He kicked my ass again even though I had 652hp and 720tq to the tire. I then added a 2650 Maggie, cam, low side fuel, meth, and e85. Now, I made just over 900hp on 14lbs and destroy his ass. Lol But, if he ever mods that car it's gunna wake up the devil himself because that car is amazing. Great car, nice review and thanks for posting.

This is the last greatest corvette made. If only it was a rear or mid mounted engine like the new one has. Either way this is a killer spec. I have a bmw x5m that i love but i can truly say your car is truly special.

If you’re looking for an automatic they seem to be pretty much everywhere. My go to is usually cars.com or the Corvette forums. If you’re looking for a manual you’re gonna want to look a little more personally like Facebook marketplace or something like that because they’re harder to find for a decent price.

How do you get your insurance to be 718 per yr for a C7? My monthly insurance was about $400 a month in Socal for my C7 Z51 😢

My dream car is a 2019 ZR1, 3ZR, non ZTK with the A8. I currently daily a 2015 Z06 3LZ A8. The reason for the A8 is my disability that only allows my left leg to work when it feels like it. We now have 88K miles on it and I love the car. With all the miles only additional expense other than the obvious services and tires, is a belt tensioner and an A/C compressor. Did you sell your ZR 1 as I have only seen videos of your C8.

C7 is my favorite of all Vettes. Yours is absolutely stunning. Great job on keeping it pristine. Thats a “forever” car……would love to see a video on how you keep it pristine. Also, see you are from PA. I used to live in Chester Springs. Want the best detailer in the state? KP Elites……in Chester Springs. Check them out.
