How To Butcher A Whole Pig. (Tutorial)
G'day Guys, in this video I go through a basic cut up of a whole pig. From Roasts to chops to pork belly, I also show you how to score the pork to ensure you perfect crackling when it comes time to cook it. Great video Benny, I like the way that you take the time and give alternate cuts of meat. I haven’t processed any as yet but looking forward to trying. You have given me great confidence to have a go!
Great video thanks; I worked for a pork Butcher in the 70's in a market town called Hereford, from where the bulls originate, and from the carcasses we produced all that you've demonstrated, plus we made pork pies from hot water pastry; these were all sizes, some hand raised and others using a dye mold. Also made faggots and brawn from tha pig meat. Was a very enjoyable job for a student.

Great video! I have some questions here. How do recommend to cut the bone if we don’t have a saw? Why do you scar the meat and how will you cook it later? From what I’ve understood you cut it based on how you would cook it but I have no idea for what recipes you’ll use it.

In this I use a Victory Boning knife and a Victorinox breaking knife. Both very good knives in my opinion 👌
