Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is the first video of the Manfred von Richthofen's Albatros D.V in 1:32 scale build tutorial video series. I show detailing and enrichment using simple materials like copper, brass wire and brass pipes.

    Excellent video. I've watched it several times and return to it often as I am trying some of your techniques on my own D.III that's going into a Wingnut Roland C.II. Thank you for taking the time to make it!

    Didn't think it was possible to improve a WINGNUT kit but you've proved that theory wrong, your detailing is amazing. Well done.

    Brilliant detail. I build a lot of race car engines so I know the amount amount of research went into this. I build derailed top fuel engines and know what all the fine work entails. So well done.

    What a fantastic, detailed build.👍👌😁 Looking at the final glamour shots, it's impossible to tell the size of the engine, without your hands to add scale to the view. With the amount of detail you've crammed in, this could almost be a full-size engine.👍

Metal and rust effects are stunning. Congratulations. Since I am looking your videos, I cut the sound... to hear another music... Last LOL ... Waooh ! Your videos are a lot of fun.

    Just came across this video series a couple of days ago... I am overwhelmed by the level of detail you have added, truly amazing! Definitely things here I'm going to attempt on my Wingnuts Wings models. I'm just wondering where you found the .5 diameter brass pipe? I have been googling this and can't seem to find anything even remotely close. Thanks

    I bought mines from Lucky Models. It's Griffon Model's brass pipe. Also you can find in BNA Model World store in any diameter. Like this www.bnamodelworld.com/hobby-tools-supplies-materials-et-models-et-t-015

    Fantastic job. I see you do a lot of painting before you glue parts together with tamiya extra thin, do you scrape off the paint or does the solvent eat through the paint and bond the parts together?

  • @Scaleaton

    @Scaleaton

    Thank you! It's MEK in the Tamiya bottle. It's welding parts together no matter painted or not. Just needs some experience with painted parts.

    Hi I would like to try the dry brushing technique on a 1/12 scale engine. but would it be just as effective do you think?

  • @Scaleaton

    @Scaleaton

    Жыл бұрын

    I don't think so. Different weathering techniques would be better on that scale.

    I asked once before about turing down the volume and you said you would then, too. It's your channel, your choice of course. But the volume level for that sound effect is so loud that when it starts playing i have to jump for my tv remote to turn it down.

  • @Scaleaton

    Oh i understand now. Yes, i assumed it was jet engine sound and i replaced with guitar sound. I will reduce intro sound %25 Thanks for the feedback!

  • @JuanAdam12

    No, it's not the guitar. It's the kids screaming "Yay!" It's always been at a much higher volume than your music. Even when I have the volume turned down on my TV it's too loud. My cat ran out of the room when I played your video the other night.
