It's good looking that is for sure but if you are working in your farm, one bat event will kill all of your boars and chicken. You can get other boars easily but make sure you stash a couple of eggs somewhere (just in case) since the bats will kill everything. You don't want to have to buy two other eggs at 3000 golds. 😁

That's a good point. Although, I never had too much problems with the bats personally. It is also worth noting that they will only be triggered after completing bonemass. Thanks for your comment!

Dude That is really amazing but damn it i didn't receive any notification when you published it.. No boubt It's masterpiece, I have some ideas I would really love to see in the channel which like you make a series of videos for survival side and some tips for progression and others stuffs for building and etc. Thanks for the vids.

I have an idea in my head about doing a "survival-friendly" build series but I have not quite worked out the designs yet. I have so many ideas but base building can be quite time-consuming, as you probably know!

I've built it exactly as per your guide, but for some reason my eggs at the chicken pen are too cold to hatch? Have the brazier in the exact same spot too. Any ideas why that might be? Thanks!

Good question. They sometimes take a few seconds to change to warm. If you've left them for a while and they are still not becoming warm the only thing I can think is that the shelter is "too exposed" maybe your roof is slightly higher than mine and for that reason the eggs are not considered to be sheltered. I would extend the roof slightly or add a wood wall 26 degree to just below the roof. Let me know if you find a solution. Thanks for your comment.

can i plant crops close to my base or i need to put them far away like berries?

You can plant them wherever is convenient for you! You just have to make sure that the space above is not sheltered to allow light to access the plant.

Thank you for your support! Yes, a bat event may be troublesome. I recommend putting a roof over the pens once you have progressed the story far enough to trigger bats.

Which mod are you using which lets you build without materials?

Good question that I am sure some others will be wondering when they watch this. It is not a mod. You can do it in the base version of the game. You have to open the in-game console by pressing F5, then you can type and enter 'devcommands', type and enter 'debugmode', press F5 to close the console > press B to activate 'no build cost'. Hope this helps!

I have planted the oak sapling at the exact spot as u told but it shows "needs more room to grow" then it dies. Please help

I would remove the nearby fences, stone floors, etc., until the tree grows. After that, you can place them in. Hope this helps!

Does anyone know how to plant on the Xbox, I have the cultivator + seeds. All I get is plant carrots on what after cultivating the ground.

Good question. I don’t play on Xbox so I am unsure. What seeds do you have in your inventory? It is important to cultivate the ground first, then plant seeds. Also, only certain seeds can be planted in each biome. Hope this helps!

How did you grow the tree instantly , in free build mod I can get the full tree but not the variant I want!

Good question. It's actually just a clever edit. I used the skiptime command to skip ahead enough time to allow the tree to grow. Unfortunately, I am unaware of a way to ensure a specific variant of tree though.

The editing was just too good haha... I thought it might have been skiptime command at first but the editing got me good XD. Yea did a lot of research myself on the tree variants ,seems the code seems to random the variant after second stage and the spawn commands doesn't have all the updated variants as of now. @@phinqs

it's very pretty, but then the cauldron gets stirred and you lose all your animals.

Yes - you will probably have to make some of your own defences to avoid that!

Good question. It is maybe a little small if you want a passive farm - the animals will be limited on breeding after a couple of generations. However, if you want to be more passive you could make the pens larger and put a roof over them!

And what about the attacks?

Good question. After you have progressed the game passed Bonemass, I recommend building a simple roof over any pens with animals in them!

@@soulmitsu I just made a simple, sloped roof - nothing fancy. I think it looks best really simple like a portal frame structure with no/little walls.

I think that is a fair criticism. It does depend on how regularly you want to farm. However, you could easily scale this up if you wanted to! Thanks for your comment.

I destroy my whole valheim mansion for this build. Its better to have something usefull. Not fancy houses that eat frames and u dont even use them.
