I used to love to get those magazines back before the internet!!!

It might be handier to have strong springs that you can adjust the tension of up front instead of those static tensioners. With the system you've got, the second your suspension compresses, it increases the chances of throwing a track dramatically. Also, a small pickup truck rear axle would probably have been far better suited for the drive-line.

Why did you not put the tension bolt out back instead of between the drive wheel and top tension wheels which seems to make it harder to get to when needed?

Pretty cool dude. I'm doing my tracks a little different though. I been working on my mini tank off and on for 3 years now. I'm at the stage of makin the suspention, tracks, and finishing the drive line. I even just put my build on you tube also, to finish it up. If you get a chance check out my video on my channel, I call it the X1 Scorpion, and maybe we could compare notes also. Personally I think your frame looks better then mine, but I'm going to be running a stronger engine with a manual gearbox though. You can never have enough horse power. And I think your going to finish before me,LOL.

me im planning on a tank at have 4 Bycle wheels judge my spelling i don't care but im gonna put wooded tracks and im gonna drive out in public with out anyone barrel cuz that's gonna be illegal im gonna make a barrel that shoots candy and confetti
