I've made a pair of my own. They work better than expected. Serviced easily two of my cars this summer. Thumbs up for the idea.

Автор молодец. Самый удачный деревянный вариант из всех просмотренных. Расейские вообще какая-то муть. Сделал по указанным размерам, доски взял толщиной 25 мм и шириной 100 и 150 мм, общая ширина 250 мм, вполне достаточно, количество промежуточных опор из доски 50х100 мм увеличил вверху до 5-и, внизу до 6-и, и ещё две опоры под наклонной доской в промежутках. Размеры определены идеально, угол наклона доски позволяет заезжать и съезжать без касания о неё передним бампером даже Матизу 0.8. А у него очень маленькие колёса. Общая высота эстакады 270 мм, вполне себе приемлемо, под машиной можно свободно работать. Дёшево и сердито.

Installed wheels. Carries them lol great job. Honestly? I'd install more uprights. Any gap could be a mishap. Even bidirectional. It simply means they can not collapse.

В России за 70$ сделают из металла😅. А так не плохо, своими руками. Если бы ещё выложили схему с размерами, то было бы ещё лучше. И нужно обязательно покрасить или покрыть лаком.

It shouldn't rack with the triangulation, IF he screwed the acute angle together at the ramp entrance, which I didn't see him do, but maybe I missed it.

I was thinking same thing. If nothing else at least some 2x4's down the middle to provide longitude support.

If you put two more castors on the end you could stand them upright and push them in a corner.

Anyone help me out? I was thinking of extending this to fit the entire car but i feel like that's too heavy

I would like to build a wooden ramp in the shape of a right-angled triangle with horizontal slats, it will be placed between the two iron ramps in the event that the car ends up in the empty space between them, which is 57 centimeters away.It's improbable the car could drive over the empty space, but when I get off I always fear that it could happen. I was wondering how I can tell if the wooden ramp will be suitable for cars.

Stack the wood in layers like paper and they will not fail.

Now the only thing I’m missing is a driveway.

Quelle sont les dimensions des rampes ? Hauteur et longueur des rampe svp, quelle bois utiliser vous ?

Will it work fine with front wheel drive? I'm afraid it could launch back if it slips. Btw, that's really expensive.

This is something I can build,my dilemma is,for $70 I can buy metal ramps and avoid the labor of building these heavy ramps.The prices of everything now days including lumber makes these practical projects,impractical.I had build my wooden ramps as a teenager to service my 68 GTO in 1968,I wish I had them now.

Yes of course, the wood is paintable, but this wood is impregnated which means is waterproof and tolerate a lot of weight 👌 its up to you than

ramp design allows for tools and parts shelves, very handy, 1:58 Mursement one: 230mm, 2:12 Mursement Tow: 480mm, 2:20 Mursement Three: 900mm, 4:24 You should drill 4 hole for 4 screw for each lumber, i did it later when i install the lumbers. And if your wood is impregnated maby you do not need drill holes at all. As i did not drill hole for the 2 other screws on the lumber. The bolt goes through without cracking the wood.
