Hi, Becca! A pretty new subscriber and I just wanted to say that I love your videos! ☺ I did notice that you have a miniature dachshund and just wanted to say to be careful with him jumping on/off of furniture, etc. I also have a miniature dachshund who is currently 6 years old. She does have IVDD (25% of dachshunds do) and she has had 5 surgeries in the past 2 years. I wish I had gotten a hold of the jumping earlier on as she is very stubborn and energetic. Not only have that surgeries been pricey (totalling over $20,000 CAD), but she now does not have has much coordination or strength in her hind legs. It breaks my heart to see her not being able to run and play as she used to. I thought I had more time to get her used to not jumping around as much because she was so young, but soon after her 4th birthday, she herniated a disc and needed her first surgery (2 more to follow that same year). I say this out of so much love and I don't want to see another fur baby going through the same thing as mine has. Much love 💛
