    This is a great video to show how beginners should make it to the casino, rather then jumping right into 1/2 and learning it there

    very good video thx! Especially the overfold on turn and river is so true. What do you suggest in the micro stakes on low pf-agression tables with bad hands when you know you can see the flop with a limp. I know its technically bad and you should just fold or raise, but it seems kinda profitable when you hit a random monster with 5 players in the hand. Not sure if it is plus EV though?

    Unless it’s suited connectors I would trash it. The only reason is because of casino rake. You won’t win enough with shitty hands to beat that

    You’ll get there. If you prove you can beat the small online stakes consistently, you can crush 1/2 at the casinos. The only difference is the pace of play!

    I totally agree tip #4. Your opp will only 3bet with two pairs plus on turn/river or tons of equity going to the turn and river. They rarely bluff. Keep your head up. Better sessions are coming.

    I have a question, I have only 2bb/100 in nl10 What is the real winrate to be comfortable in 1/2 live ? Beat nl25 I guess ? What winrate did you need… Also how many HH did you play each month online (30k or more ?)

  • @NorCal_Poker

    @NorCal_Poker

    5 ай бұрын

    My win rate in 10 NL was 24BB/Hour per table (5 tables) aka $12/hour total. I think it’s important to eventually move up to 50 NL because that plays a lot like the $1/2 game. People in 10 NL just go all in with anything since it’s just $10. Once you get to 50 NL, people protect their stack more like they do in $1/2 at the casino. A rough guess for hands per month was probably 15,000 for me

    @@NorCal_Poker what is your last time in nl10 because no one all in with anything ( maybe 5% player ). If they all in vs 4 bet they have QQ KK AK. EVERY time. I have 70k hands at this limite on gg poker. They know how to play at nl10, not in 2, not in nl5 but nl10-25 is tight and passive. 24bb/100 is very interesting, what did you think about gg poker ? Unfortunately where i live, in the states, online gambling is illegal. So, my plan is to either start 4/8 limit or 2-100 spread limit (limit is all this state offers)with money I set aside for fun each month- putting my winnings into a poker bankroll.

    Good playing with you the other day, looking forward to the footage. One thing: I had to look away several times when you were peeling cards for the camera. Beware of your left side! Capitol uses the largest font of any casino I've seen. I meant to say something before you left, and I never saw your cards when I was in a pot with you, just FYI. Good luck out there!

    if you play at places that have table games, sports beetting and slots, hookers and drugs along with the free alcohol at the pokr tables, avoiding ALL of that supercedes any "bankroll management" advice. many a GREAT, well bankrolled poker player has gone busto falling into one or more of the many leaks available(Stu Unger comes to mind).
