How to Build a Marri Herringbone Table
In this video I will go through the processes I used to make a solid herringbone dining table out of Marri wood. I will talk about my plans to make a herringbone table top out of recycled wood right through to how to use danish oil on recycled wood. Please feel free to leave any comments and questions below.

We always see just a piece of furniture rather than the time, thinking and effort it took to bring something to fruition.
If only one could get wood like this in Germany... So beautiful, there's no better material than wood if you ask me. So many types and so widely applicable. Great work!
Beautifully understated, simple and elegant. Should make a great piece for a quasi contemporary flat or home. Love your seemingly calm demeanor concerning recognizing and solving problems. Those traits are a big asset for anyone making one of a kind or prototypes.

Absolutely LOVE the way this turned out!
Very slick! I love the wood and like your approach to limited materials. I like what you said about backfilling, my last table had some issues and I back filled, I now will back fill and seal the whole piece, you really have one or two opportunities to do this on the bottom side and it keeps the piece more stable throughout its lifetime so its worth it.
