really useful. can't believe some of the dumb questions below. if you don't want it at the size shown then adjust accordingly...obviously. it is really clear what to do...love it and will save a fortune on buying one ready made. thank you to people who make the effort to put videos like this together.

@1:34, the top 2x4 facing the curve needs to be supported by another 2x4. The supporting 2x4 sits behind the top 2x4 and should be turned sideways like the other 2x4's . If you do not do do this the ramp will bow in the center.

Nails will back out overtime and become a hazard not only to most park skaters using tech wheels, but if you fall and slide on the surface. With screws you can counter sink them and putty over them so you have a smooth surface, and they won't back out as much over time.

You'll have to treat the plywood as you build it with clear liquid latex paint or spray, paying special attention to all the edges of the plywood. Don't use varnish, it'll make the ramp too slippery and dangerous

  • @0nly1ej6

If you can afford the cost upfront, "epoxy garage coating" works great and looks killer. Super Durable and it adds a smooth finish that is better than Masonite in the long run, with no splinters from varnished plywood. It will make your ramp last much longer. If you don't plan to take the sections apart, it also makes the plywood transitions really smooth.

Then you would need a lot of those plywood sides to form a circle, i'd say about 20 or so atleast and lots of short (but changing size progessively as they go up) pieces of 2x2 or 2x4 and coat it with a good few layers of thin plywood so it warps rounded.
