@@CharlestonCrafted Its funny; my wife asked me to build us an outdoor sectional just hours before you posted this and your video popped up like #4 on search and was the first I found that looked sound. Boom, off to the races! First time using the Kreg 720PRO and holy crap.. What a well designed product. I’ll try figure out a way to share my final result when I’m done this weekend!

I have a question - the seat back posts...all the boards are 3/4"x 3 1/2". The plans call for 2" cuts. Am I full length cutting the board lengths so that the posts are 2" inch wide and not 3 1/2"? I also was going to ask about the angled backs. Since I am building for an outdoor patio, I will try the angled vs flat. Great plans for this project. Thanks!

Yes the posts are 2” wide instead of the full 3 1/2” so that it fits with the cushions. You can also add an angle, but that didn’t work for our space.

Question...could 2x4's be substituted for the legs to cut down on costs? I love this design, just trying to save some $$. Tks

Yep, I essentially made 2x4s because I wanted to use the cypress wood

2 questions - is this strong enough for 3 large adults? I actually am not doing a sectional but two of the long couches separated. The individual couches will be 84 in long. I am adding a third leg in the middle (42 in) for more support given length. I also cut the width since we will not be using as sectional and pillows, down to 18 in. Second question is are the back posts angled back at all? One of the pics looks like it but the plans don’t call for it. Thanks for any guidance!

Feel free to email me at the address in the plans, but quick answer is I agree with a third leg in the middle if you are concerned, but it is stronger than you’d think. As for the back, no it’s not angled because of the space limitations we had. I would recommend an angle though and wanted one myself but couldn’t do it. Angle the back posts just a bit and you’ll be good

It was about $500 total if I remember right, including the cushions which we got at Home Depot

What are the dimensions of the finished project? Trying to find out if it will fit in our funny corner.
