The similarities between a the b58 and 2jz are pretty close. They both sound the same, they both have the capacity for turbos, and both are reliable engines. I think that b58 is by far the best engine bmw has made since the n54 and I also think that 2jz is by far the king of engines knowing that 25-30 years later, people are still throwing it inside of newer cars. My respect for Toyota’s 2jz design. It’s immaculate. I would own both new and old Supra.
