“I missed but you guys can make it” was possibly the most honest comment I’ve heard on a tutorial video 😂

When you said that I read it before I made it to this part and thought you meant he said he missed on going to the NBA, but we as the viewers can succeed.

THE EDITING/QUALITY IS ON POINT🤯
this man used to sauce up d1 basketball players back in the day
Just saw this video tutorial and it is one of the better ones I have seen. You have a gift of teaching and it shows. You keep things 'simplified' just as your page implies. Your breakdown process from every step, dribble and body angle/weight distribution is precise and clear. Add to that your patience in teaching and the why, when and how coupled with great camera work and you deliver a tutorial that any avid follower of the game young or old can benefit from. Even and older 50+ dog like myself. Solid job! Thanks and keep up your love for the game and teaching it to those who have a desire to get better.
Can’t wait for the next video!

Glad to hear! Let us know what other breakdowns you wanna see
I always want to do 'Iverson VS Jordan' move, but didn't know how to hang after BTL. Now I know that my jumping direction was wrong(02:22). Thanks for the tips :D
I’m trying to learn this move (I’m an awkward dribbler) and was having trouble just getting used to that floating movement as it feels weird but I’ll try it again next time I play. Thank you for the breakdown!

Im gonna use these in my next intramural league and boutta break some ankles
Korean Kyrie!!
Can you show/breakdown the reads for other moves, like when to initiate the move based on the defensive reaction? I have a hard time with the reads and when to execute the move.

Thanks for sharing bro! Going forward, we'll definitely include more details in knowing when to hit certain moves in games. And we're working on some POV videos that can be very helpful for you too - stay tuned!
HIGH QUALITY.
The part about the gather step only applies to the NBA. I talked to several coaches and the interpretation is indeed different at HS and NCAA. However in the clip when you perform this you are actually playing legal because your gather happens a step or two AFTER you said you were gathering it. You actually are gathering it later when the second hand picks it up, the floating ball in the hand on those first few steps are part of a live dribble so those steps don't count.
I want to ball w you guys!
Sir,Which is much better- going laterally or going forward with this hesitaion???
@SimplifiedHandles
3 жыл бұрын
I say it's best to the use the move laterally if you're trying to find a rhythm to hit a few different moves. But if you're looking to attack the defender, it's best to use this move while going forward.
This video looks great, but it's hard to tell whether the layup at 5:05 is a travel. It really looks like a travel to me.
Saludos, me parece genial tu video, pero no hablo inglés, me gustaría poder saber lo que dices
I'm sure you're right on this, but 5:16 is 4 steps after the last bounce. How is this possible? Edit: i suppose it's simultaneous dribble+step, gather step + 2. Just seems odd!
Who are the players you try to model your game after??
@SimplifiedHandles

what drills can i do to master this
@SimplifiedHandles
3 жыл бұрын
We have a video coming out that details the pocket dribble. The drill is a great way to build control of the ball as you float in the air - this is for the ball control portion of the hang hesitation. Now for your foot work, I would set up cones in front of you to emulate the defender's width and try to float outside the defender's frame (outside of the cones). Repetition is key!
What causes fear?😢

5:05 travel to me

For this move, the DIG step and GATHER step don't count as steps for the layup. If you play the video back, there are only 2 steps after the gather step. Thanks for watching!
That gather step is a travel at the park my guy, just saying
