Hey Dr. First of all I would like to say that I love your channel. My story. Went to 106kg and felt very bad. Got problem with depression after a while and decided to turn my life around. It wasn't easy but I started to buy a standing desk and treadmill and start moving my body every day at work. I started doing intermittent fasting and I have done 945 days fasting 16/8. I used to take 500 steps a day while working now I am averaging around 13 000. I am down to 80kg. Feeling much happier. Much love from Sweden.

My dilemma is I love to swim everyday but it's effort to get there, wash my costume, towel, shower, moisturize to stop skin issues, being organized before I go ie get my bag ready etc etc but it helps my metal health so much so I force myself to do it. But it's not easy and I find the process overwhelming🙄. I do exercise in the kitchen but it's so difficult to motivate myself in the house unless I blast dopamine increasing drop beat music through my headphones! Hope that helps anyone else who struggles with motivation🙂

Hi Jaz, my question to you is, “Why do you put such an expectation on yourself to swam every day?” There are no rules about this. I love swimming, but haven’t been in two years. You sound hard on yourself. Where does this come from? I’m sure you weren’t born like this.

Of course that is seasonal. In the off season I do find it hard to get that motivation, particularly on my own. I love you five minute idea. A five minute warm up is easy. I can do it anywhere. Thanks again!

You are wiping out stigmas...,going beyond the perimeters established in this society in a wrong way in many parts of the world and for decades. I am so identified and aligned with your criteria... You are exposing in a simple practical, knowledgeable, and humble way the essence of trustful statements. You excel your profession with delicate approach motivating people around the world to make a positive difference in their lives! I am 100% agree with with you. I am sure that you represent the wisdom that only come from God! I respect anyone who don't believe in this truth... But I do believe in Him! I am not trying in any way to convince anyone..., Neither, I am a fanatic person..., But certainly, I cannot hide this truth. God bless you and your family! Keep doing this mission.... Your mission! They repeat some tips thru-out...suggesting brief - health snacks - and say to begin on a weekly then daily basis - even 10 mins at a time - breathwork, stretching, a walk, resistance exercise - and take a few minutes to enjoy how it feels while enjoying relaxing breathing. Notice the shift in how you feel and enjoy that. Reduce stress, and build your resistance to it.

“You’re trying to run before you can walk and it’s making you stumble out the gate and fall flat on your face every time”. This is what I told a friend who was trying to get himself back into cycling. The weeks turned into months and summers came and went as he clung onto the idea that he had to train on one particular hilly 55 mile route to get fit. Meanwhile, I was cycling 6 days a week in all areas alone and with groups. He could not understand why he couldn’t even leave the house on his bike. Yet he refused to just do a 10 milt local ride. You explain this mental block very well at the beginning of this vid. Unfortunately he only dug his heels in further after I said what I said. I never brought it up again.
