thoughts on ADN programs? 28 year old guy in IT thinking about making a change

Nothing wrong with ADN programs, you still get a RN that is indistinguishable for nursing jobs. You can always get a bachelors or higher degree later after you start working.

ADN is a great start. A great door opening to higher education. Soon you get ADN, RN, and you get your BSN online within 2 or 4 semesters. You can work anywhere you want. Traveling nurse makes lots of money and you can travel to places you want; I started with ADN and now I am in the BSN program. ADN is a bit hard for me because it is the foundation of nursing but when you get into BSN, it is so easy and relaxing.
