Pros and Cons of ADN Programs
Pros and Cons of BSN Programs
Which Program is Right for You?
Ultimately, both ADN and BSN programs provide valuable education and training for aspiring nurses. Whichever path you choose, it's essential to do your research, talk to current nursing professionals, and consider your career goals to make an informed decision. Additionally, it's important to consider that many healthcare facilities are now requiring a BSN degree for entry-level nursing positions, making it an increasingly important credential in the field.

There are schools now that will allow you to go back to school LPN-BSN track 5 semesters, purely online! Rigorous they say but well worth it for moms and dads out there juggling life in general.

Lpn might be harder to find a job. Most health systems want RN nurses

@@YesImBudgeting i did my LVN then bridged to RN now BSN online. LVN/LPN is so worth it if you want to start working and making money. RN takes too long for some people, i dont regret taking the path i did.

@@Nursejanx Healthcare systems these days are so desperate they send their LPNs back to the BSN track for free. In other words, their LPNs stay with them, and they pay their tuition to go back to BSN school, take NCLEX, and transition roles. WIN WIN.

I already had an associates degree in nutrition and kinesiology so it made no sense to get a another associates degree especially since alot of emoloyers are pushing the BSN. I got my BSN (traditional)in 5 semesters and just graduated in May.

I'm in respiratory, working full time and my hospital is paying for my BSRC which I take on my own schedule. After that I can go to MSRC or even cross over to MSN directly.

Hi this is great information. Question, what program makes sense if you already have a Bachelor's and Master's but, want to go into Nursing as a career. Considering a Direct Entry MSN program.
