Exactly, so many people wanna be a KZreadr because is the "easy way to become millionaires", but once they start uploading content without good storytelling or technical knowledge they see is not that simple, the views are not coming, so they bail. To be honest, making a living on KZread takes much more work and learning than a lot of other jobs, is not as easy as many people think it is.

I used to make videos solely about natural hair/beauty but then I decided to lean into my profession as a lawyer and pivot to law/finance. I can definitively say, from personal experience, that everything in this video is true. My videos that are financial and legal in nature provide way more Adsense revenue than my natural hair/beauty videos. It sucks, because I love both topics, but from a purely financial perspective, it clearly makes more sense to lean into niches that ultimately make more money.

If it's only purely about money, I agree then it clearly makes more sense to lean into niches that ultimately make more money. But if you love what you do, I mean you love it so much that you don't earn anything from it (for now). You are really going to come up with strategies to make money.

Doing youtube as a teenager or young adult without any commitments is a great way to kick start making some extra money. As a parent or adult with lots of responsibility, it is really hard to juggle. It will take years to make money for most people. Let that sink in. Not saying don't start, but to be aware if the level of commitment needed to succeed on this platform.

Content wise-great overview of the topic and giving examples supported with amazing visual graphics/transitions/images/audio, etc. More importantly, fact & fun was combined to hold the audience's attention and gave it solid value: research was there, your storytelling/narration was on point, FIRE editing, & relative/eye-catching visuals, visuals, visuals...more than crazy & gimmicky effects or behaviors as done by others, etc. Viewers with channels have already commented on how solid/reliable/realistic this information was. CPM is one thing, however, what you need to know is that "Your Cut" amount is coming from the RPM. - That's the money you make after KZread takes their 45% cut and gives you the 55% difference.

It's all about the audience, even content is secondary. If you're making videos that people want to watch, then that content becomes king. Secondly, grabbing and understanding the demands of your audience is the hardest part. If you crack that code, then all things fall in place

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions and and look outward, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You most look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

Wow, writing and editing in your videos is very high quality, but what amazes me even more, is that you are somehow able to create around 15 min long video like this every week. All these animations, transitions, typography, movie clip selection... are you a wizard or something? Do you use some 3rd party assets for AE/PP?

Hey, firstly a huge thanks for the comment, very glad to hear you're enjoying the videos. But to answer your question, for a long while I was doing it all myself but now I'm building a small team to help me produce these videos more regularly, as you're right, they take a very long time. 😅 I'm a big advocate of creators trying to do this so they can make more regular videos whilst still maintaining the quality. (In fact, I actually plan to try and increase the quality and take things up another level over the next year). I just want to let you know though that a lot of people are reporting that KZread AREN’T showing them new videos even though they’re subscribed, unless they turn on ‘all notifications’ by pressing the bell. (And some people even have to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to even be able to turn the notifications on). It’s frustrating, as a lot people are missing the new documentaries as a result of this glitch, but just wanted to let you know in case you wanna make sure you see future videos. If so, please consider turning notifications on. Thanks again for the kind words - you’re a legend!

The content is focused on entrepreneurship ... since the team behind the channel has built a million dollar tech startup in a year and we're just sharing stuff. Which is crazy considering it was one of the best about 5-10 years ago because the industry was booming, now people play the same 1-3 games because they know they're good because companies started spewing out awful games at AAA prices

@@Financialguide2023 yah since the money isn't much, I just play what I enjoy within my niche and that way connect with like-minded players.

The fundamental reason this channel does not get many views and subscribers despite its brilliant content, is because YT users are generally younger than 30 years old. Sadly, these "youngsters" believe they know it all and will simply not spend the time on actually getting to know stuff.

I'm 16 and I always watch educational videos like this most of the time. It depends on our interests so you guys don't need to worry because not all "youngsters" are bad, it's just that most of the time "youngsters" get mentioned on social medias it's because they've done something stupid.

unfortunately not true the demographics for the "youtube viewer" highly depends on the content i know plenty of channels that only get views from 30+ ages hell my channel had 25% above 65 years old and I never understood that so lots of variables and the viewer age goes from 1 to 85 years old but after about 65 it starts to fade because they dont know how to use the internet and stuff like youtube or they are happy watching CNN and the Prices Right too much hahaha

Thanks for this information. How can you identify a legitimate sponsorship offer vs a bogus one?

I use social media to make money online doing affiliate marketing and get the bulk of my signups using KZread. It took awhile to get the hang of it and I went thru a ton of trial and error but then I hit some momentum and my channel just started growing and growing. KZread is not easy at all... It takes consistency and determination. You have to be willing to learn and keep up with the forever changing algorithms but it is possible! Wishing all of you tons of success on your KZread journey.

Yes, although it's worth noting that KZread can't be tricked. You couldn't just add irrelevant tags to a video that are unrelated - they have to match the content, as KZread scans the entire the video to understand what it's about. I don't mean to imply you were thinking of doing that, I just want to clarify so people don't start trying to add finance keywords onto their comedy videos. 😂 But yes, using the right keywords and words in general can affect CPM. :)

Great video. Didn't know about the CPM stuff so thanks for that knowledge.
