    Hi Roberlyn! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. Last time I checked, the COGS does not state an expiry date. But you are correct to get it within 3 to 6 months of submitting for UK employer / recruitment agency. You have to check the individual PRC site. As you may know services can vary per place. Just give them a call or ask someone to inquire on site for you. We have a main office in Cebu but also have a satellite in Robinsons mall which offer the same services. But in other satellites they have limited and specific documents they can provide. Hope this helps! Greetings from North London! 😉

  • @nursejakeUK

    @nursejakeUK

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi there! It says on the site to bring your original Passport, Police Certificates (one you've uploaded), Diploma, Marriage certificate (if applicable), Registration Certificate OR License Card. The NMC officer is there to check the ORIGINALs of the documents you uploaded on your NMC application. So bring the exact same ones. If the PRC ID has expired by the item you take the OSCE, it should not matter if they accepted it already in your online application. They just want to verify that the documents are real.

Depending on your confidence with English language test, you can do this first to make sure that your registration does not expire while reviewing for IELTS. 2 years lang sya valid ang result dapat maregister na.

    Hi Mae! It should be the Board Certificate. Better to process correctly rather than try to amend later because it can be costly to call NMC from the Philippines. Sometime they may not reply immediately to email as well. Might take around 1 to 2 weeks to get a reply.

    The problem now is my degree certificate carries three names( Surname, first name and middle name) while my RN certificate carries two names( Surname and first name) that is the middle name on my degree certificate wasn't included in RN certificate. So I dnt know if this is also same as change of name? So I was wondering for the fact that I'm using my three names for the process and my RN certificate carries two names what do I do? Or shld I swear an affidavit of "one and same person" to back it up? Or shld I use my birth cert to back it up as evidence. What do I do? And lastly after this will NMC Uk use my three names or they will use the two names on my RN certificate?

  • @nursejakeUK

    @nursejakeUK

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi there! I think it's best to start your NMC account and once you have that, you can email them to ask about this. For me, my degree certificate has my name, middle initial (not full), and surname. My registration certificate has all three spelled out. Also my IELTS report form only has my first and last name. And there was no problem. When you register for NMC application, include your middle name. It's normal for some documents not to have the middle name so you will most likely just get through. If not, they will email you about it and make it work. This should not cause rejection whatsoever.

    Hi Tareq! Thank you for watching! In order to practice here in the UK as a nurse, you will have to follow the same process of NMC registration as stated in the vide since you did not study and qualify here in the UK. It's amazing that you have an MSc already! That will be an asset once you start working as a nurse. Progression will be quicker! Good luck on your registration!

    Hi Aswathy! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. The certificate of employment is for the employers / agency you are applying for. It is not part of NMC registration. • @nursejakeUK

    Hi. The police clearance is for EACH country where you lived for 12 months or more in the last 10 years. If for example you've only been in the Philippines in the last 10 years, you only need NBI. If you worked for example in Singapore for 1 year then you need both Singapore police clearance and NBI clearance from Philippines. If example you worked in Saudi but only for 3 months, then you only need NBI from the Philippines. So write all the countries you've been to in the last 10 years. If any of them is 1 year or more then you need police clearance for that country.

Do you have any idea about the exam? 😭 Plus this 7 years was all in Middle East, but in nmc I put prc and that's where I'll be requesting for state board verification and good standing. Hi there. Sorry to hear about these. If you put pedia and that's your specialty, that's fine you can continue with that so when you apply for UK, you go straight to paediatric units. For the questions, very rarely have I seen any sample questions for this. It's worth joining NMC CBT Pedia groups and ask for sample questions there. You will also need police clearance for every country you've been in the last 10 years. I think you have that as part of your exit clearance from Middle East? So it should be okay. For the verification and good standing. Do the PRC one and see if that goes through. If they ask you for ME documents, then that's the time you worry about it and find a way to get them. Hope this helps.

    Hi Fatima! Thank you for watching and leaving a question. If you studied nursing in the Philippines, country of training should have been put as Philippines. If this cannot be changed, yes you can still put PRC as you cannot really verify in Saudi. According to a friend who had a similar experience, they will email you to ask why this is and you just explain through writing. Hope this helps.
