hello sir, please for the Province based specialist in Canada for img , do we have to do 2-3 fellowship in only one province (ontario) ? or for example 1 fellowship in toronto , 1 in quebec, and 1 in vancouver and then apply to professor job ?

Can a FMG that already has Internal Medicine + Oncology residencies from his own country apply direcly to an Oncology residency on the USA ? Or must he apply first to Internal Medicine and then do an Oncology residency afterwards in the US? (consider steps 1 e 2 done and the country is wfme accredited). Thank you

After graduating in Medicine, I completed 1y of internal medicine and 2y of clinical oncology (3-y program). I've been practicing med oncol for almost 20 y. I also completed a master's, PhD, and have extensive research and teaching experience (graduate program coordinator with 130+ publications). I'm board-certified in Brazil in med oncol and palliative med. Do you think having only 1 y of internal medicine would be a barrier to becoming a physician in the USA or Canada without repeating residency?
