It’s a decent rule of thumb, if you encounter a wild animal that is bright and beautiful, stay away. There’s a reason they don’t need to camouflage or fit in. ☠️

Well, in the novel things happen a little differently. A lot of what Coriolanus tells Lucy Gray to do in the movie is actually solely her idea in the book.

I love how different this movie is from the first one. A lot of things happen before and after the games. Especially how some of the tributes die before the game even starts.

“Accurate” pronunciation? It’s a work of fiction. I think you mean that the pronunciation does not match what they used in the movie or what you use in your head, but it’s not like Sejeanus or whoever can tell you the “correct” way. They don’t exist.

I would probably do what I usually do in battle royale games, I go stealth until there's only a few people left so I have enough energy to fight the last few remaining survivors. They'd probably be tired af by then.

The downside is that you won't be armed and not be mentally ready to get pvp.

One thing to note is that at the end, the dean didn’t mean to kill himself. Snow had poisoned the morphling to kill him.

Just realized that the Gamemaker was the start of what the game became by using the students as a hidden set of Tributes for the Capital Games. Snow just won his game and takes the lessons learned to create the biggest Arena in the Capital itself.

Truly why Snow hated Katniss. Her love was fake and confusing. His for Lucy was real but unfortunate

I think in a weird way he saw Peeta in himself, so hijacking him go hate katniss and want to kill her was extra thrilling for him

Dunno if you read the comments before, but now the "movie scenes/you talking"-ratio is perfect. I missed no relevant scene und seeing a real human talk when it fits isn't wrong neither. Glad to see one of my favorite movie channels improve into the right direction! Keep up the good work!

Sejanus came later. He was not on the same train that Snow left on originally to 12. Sejanus came a bit later and surprised Snow in the barracks. Also, the whole fight and what ensued causing the peace keepers to one looking was that Snow shot and killed on of the rebels during the fight. there was so much going on there that this video left out. NOT RIPPING ON THIS VIDEO, IT WAS EXCELLENT!!!! I JUST WANTED TO SHED A BIT MORE LIGHT ON A FEW MORE IMPORTANT THINGS MISSED PROBABLY ON PURPOSE FOR EDITINGS AND OR TIME CONSTRAINTS . All and all this was very entertaining, excellent editing, and kept me engaged the ENTIRE video. Great job!

Kind of weird this movie is just Camp Rock with murder

Hey guys! I want to point out something that probably was very subtle and hard to notice if you did not think about it (didn't read the book, but I'm planning to). I think... that it is Snow who poisoned the Dean, not the Dean himself. If I remember correctly, before departure to the Capitol, he went through Sejanuses box. It was shown that Sejanus kept poison in there (probably so he could end himself, if he knew the end was near) and Snow later went to Dean with same box in his hands (that means the poison was there). Throughout the film it was shown that Dean had the same ampules (not the contents, just the shape of the flask) for his (probably) morfalin/alcohol addiction. I think that Snow noticed this and left the ampule with poison on the table on purpose, so when he leaves, Dean would be tricked into drinking the poison without suspicion. It would make sense because it was very possible he was bearing a grudge against Dean and probably did not want to risk endangering him again... But hey, it's just a theory, a GAME theory🤣 TLDR: Throughout the film it is pointed that Dean had some sort of addiction, so i think Snow noticed this a got rid of the Dean using Sejanuses poison.

Yeah, in the book, he does poison him. And he also slips the poison into one of the drug bottles because of the dean’s addiction. So 100% correct

I think the hesitation to save her wasn't the worst thing. They weren't lovers at the time, they were still pretty new to each other. Even if there was a spark, the hesitation makes sense its not like shes his wife or something. Him calling on her to help him makes sense as well, it was almost like a test to see if she was willing to put her neck out on the line for him as well. Not everything needs to be 100% or nothing, especially in new relationships.

It’s actually crazy that you uploaded this because around the same time you uploaded this I thought to myself you should make a video on this movie.

If you ever team up with anyone in a death game/ apocalypse don't team up with how to cast you're a potential meat shield especially if you're useless lol😂

fun fact, Lucy gray came up with our main heroes name Katniss. do you remember when they were at the lake and she pointed out a plant that was next to the lake in the water, and she said it's so beautiful, and it grows these big Brown roots that we boil and eat AKA potatoes. then she says "I call it Katniss. don't you think that's a fitting name Coryo?"I apologize if the quote I put in is an exact but it's close and it gets the point across

What I've learned from how to beat😮 with examples from this vid: 1. Assess the urgency of the situation and all the interests and incentives. Why? So you know who may cooperate with you e.g Lucy and Snow for the game; and who may betray you e.g Snow betraying everyone for his family 2. Strategize. There are only 3 types of strategies: i. Preemption. Get an advantage e.g weapons, popularity ii. Attrition. Get safety and security e.g tunnels, meat shields iii. Cheating. Exploiting loopholes, no example in this vid, however stuff like destroying cameras and escaping during chaos 3. After picking one or two feasible strategies, look for usable resources e.g debris; and removable limitations e.g risks, flashy clothes affecting that strategy Thanks, How to Beat! It also depends on how venomous the snakes are because some venomous snakes are only like as venomous as a B is like technically venomous but it's probably not going to do much harm like a hog. Nose is technically venomous but not like medically significant. So if you got bit by one of them for one it would have to chew on you cuz it's rear things. Venomous but it's also not a f****** boom slang so it's not going to kill you at most. It'll give you a little swelling, maybe some itchiness unless you're allergic

I watched the movie *the movie was presented in school ,don't ask*, and I agree it was PERFECT the fighting scene, the tension, the effect, my only complaint about movie is that Lucy Survival Relies In HEAVY PLOT ARMOR even though it would have been better if it relied in SKILLS AND SURVIVAL like the protagonist in the first ever HUNGER GAME movie and also about the beginning when the Mother said that his father died which felt anti-climatic

another fun fact is that you can hear many of the songs that Lucy Gray song in this movie in most of the other Hunger Game movies. correct me if I'm wrong but I believe in Mockingjay part 2 she sings The hanging Tree song several times or hums it. I remember one specific point where she is out at the river with I believe Gale and she's singing and or humming that song. there are so many parallels, they did a great job of putting many Easter eggs and those parallels I was talking about in ballad of songbirds and Snakes. I remember picking up the book what I feel is nearly two years ago at Target 🎯 of all places.... LOL 😂And I started to read. I noticed that this book was not written for a 5th. grade child unlike the rest and fell in love with the book. I read it with my wife several times, one time even reading it aloud and doing different voices ffor each of the characters, and trying to give it a dramatic feel for her! I know, super nerdy right? well we were waiting what felt like an eternity for any sign of a movie coming out. lets just say 37:36 when it was released we were there for the first showing in our town ❤😂 I remember hoping that the movie would do the book justice, and honestly they were pretty' damn close.
