alligators are pretty calm if you know how to deal with them, that is why they are called swamp puppies. The first deputy to get killed by one splashed the water and made himself look smaller in that situation which triggered the gator's predatory instincts.

@quinnpingo I've only had it Cajun style, deep fried, tastes like chicken, crocodile is a lot more dense...like a pork chop. I've never had it BBQ style but I'd love to try it

Being raised in south Louisiana myself, every Louisiana person knows no buildings have basements. Not because of floods but because of ground water being so shallow, however you would be stupid to every go in any murky water more than a foot deep in Louisiana.

when the flood of 2016 hit, we all had to watch for gators . My neighborhood flooded , and its literally right next to three creaks 😂

Fun fact:baby crocodiles are actually blind,you may think they hunt via hearing but actually it's the ripples,you see they use something that's kinda like snakes which is a organ that is connected to the jaw so,they use the ripples to determine the size and animal of their prey.

Fun fact, we don't actually have basements in Louisiana. I think there's maybe 3 basements in the whole state. Our water table is so high that if you want a basement you have to put the building on a hill a good 30 feet higher than everything around it

Also, as someone who has had to deal with gators in the pond in front of my house more than a few times. The fact these cops and mercenaries are getting picked off like this, even on an unflooded 2nd floor of a building is ridiculous
