    15:56 When I first saw this, I found it interesting that Zora's doppelganger stabbed the man in the leg. Some might think it was to deal with the man without wasting too much time having to kill him and to get back to chasing Zora, but I think that it is actually to help the stabbed man's doppelganger be able to catch him easier so that his doppelganger can kill him.

    This is seriously one of my favourite horror films. Such an interesting take on the concept of a doppelganger, and (spoilers!!) the fact that the Addie we've been following the entire film is "the Tethered" is such a freaky twist that I did not expect on my first watch. The fact it tricks you into routing for the other entity just gives me chills.

    A situation like this would be very terrifying in real life. Imagine an evil version of you trying to kill you. Your evil version knows where you are at any time like they are the monster from It Follows, but you don't know where they are. And they have the advantage in the first meeting, because while you are probably stunned or perplexed at what you are even looking at, they are ready to end you on sight. So they would be in the process of attacking you while you are still wondering if they are a long-lost sibling or something.

The exploitation of animals into spectacles and the desire to see them and witness them fully is seen with the filmmaker, compiling a video of animals. @@voidtempering8700 Of course she will hate the doppelgänger since she stole her life but you misunderstood, that’s not the part that is flawed. In the movie it is presented as if Red was born into this government scheme and never knew anything else but in reality she had a few years as a normal girl. On top of that she somehow was able to figure out it was the government that were behind it etc

  • @tangybarbecue9815

    @@jjs01 There's possible answers. She looked young in the movie so real Addie probably forgot most of her life outside living in the tunnels. The government scheme thing would likely not be hidden in the tunnel society, so it's reasonable that she somehow figured it out considering someone may have literally told her down there

  • @Steelfox0329

    @Steelfox0329

    12 күн бұрын

    The government program was still going on, most likely when Red was left in the tunnel. So, she took on the experiments that Addie was receiving at that time. Also, it's safe to assume that Red got amnesia somehow when she was knocked out by Addie. The hands across America shirt could have been the trigger to her memory coming back eventually. Hence, the obsession with the shirt.

    Can you do cube two hypercube? If you’re already working on it I’m sorry.. it’s just that I haven’t seen anybody do it yet. And your video on the first movie was great. I saw you liked my. Comment. but I’m not sure if that means all systems go.

    I wish I had a good clone. We could do so many things together. Instead of just deciding whether to go out or stay home, or which side to take in an argument, we could each debate it from another viewpoint. I would love to have a good double.
