I did my first entire darkouls3 playthrough not remembering you can use shields. Pontiff is easy, just summon all 3 summons outside his boss room & punish him while he fights them. Boosting your fire defense is good too

hands down best guide video, I'm serious. You just gave just a general tactic instead of a list of steps to copy so I could actually play the game, got him first try with this method.

Idk why this is in my recommended but this is an interesting idea for a video lol. A boss specific guide, and mentioning that you're bad

​@@zenith7024 The thing is you shouldn't move away. The best way to fight Pontiff is to be right up against him the entire time never leave his side become his housewife and cook him meals and do his laundry then get behind him and staby staby
