honestly, i find it brave that she saved the baby. not only did she save the baby's life, but she saved the lives of future visitors incase the son grows up just as messed up

At 9:15 there’s another problem with the gun, and it’s the fact that the weapon should be considered evidence and carefully bagged. He puts it in his boot which tells you he either isn’t a sheriff or isn’t planning on investigating (extremely sketchy).

Or have a fully loaded m4 with a eotech zoom sight combo 45 round mags because drums are bulky and hard to reload. Have plate carrier and at least 3 mags of 556 or 223 for lower recoil. Make sure your pc has a bladder backpack with water and storage for a med kit and a extra flashlight and batteries make sure you rifle has a peg box (flashlight laser combo) and be trained with it. Most hottie movies would end in minutes with this set up even a quiet place

Also kinda of a bad assumption the m4 is the most common rifle in the usa so really anyone can be a expert with enough time with one. Coming from a guy with a galil who is still struggling to clean/zero the dam thing.

15:28 you're right regarding this. However, Lee Ermey (the actor who played the sherrif) was an ex-staff sergeant in the marines so regardless of appearance he could probably kick somebodies ass who isn't a semi-decent fighter/brawler. I know its irrelevant for the character he's playing but it's just a point out to always be cautious as you don't know who you're dealing with.

the fact that none of this would have happened if they just drove the other way with the woman or kept on driving past her annoys me because they literally would have easily survived.

You also should cover the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) and the sequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1983 I think). I really would like to know how if it was possible to survive with the og Sawyers, not only the off-spin ones. Otherwise, great video and funny commentary ! Keep going !

I like how at the end she's just like the lady they picked up. How she had that blank expression, and the fact she didn't want to go back into the town. It shows the lady probably went through what she was experiencing. Nice.

picture this: let's say you home alone, and you live in one of those 3 or 4 story suburban neighborhood houses. No one is home but you and your dog ( if you got one ). Your mom, or girlfriend or whoever you live with isn't there right now, it's night time. And then all of sudden your dog starts barking, you try to see what he's barking at, but you don't see anything, so then you just ignore the dog and go upstairs for about 20 min. and then you come back down stairs and THERE'S LEATHERFACE WITH A CHAINSAW. Fun fact: Leatherface’s name changes so many times in the series. He has been named Bubba Sawyer Jr in the first movie, then it changed to Thomas Lawrence, John Hayne, and Thomas Hewitt. Also, the location of the movies changed in multiple movies. It first took place in Granger, Moreno county, TX (which isn’t real), but this changes to Fuller, TX (which does exist)

Fun fact: if the traumatized girl is terrified of a certain location and certain you will all die if you go to that location, you actually DONT want to go to that location instead of going to that location and trustingly walking into the woods away from your escape vehicle. Surprising, I know.

His okay is so iconic that when I watch something and someone does something stupid I just go "Okay,"

Fun fact: Gunnar Hansen, the guy who played leatherface, frequently found himself having to slow way down while running after the other cast members because, even though he was carrying a real chainsaw and wearing giant boots with a leather face mask, he was running much faster than everyone else. Edit: This was in the original 1974 movie, not the specific remake addressed in this video. Sorry for any confusion.

These videos are great! Even if they did not pick up the hitchhiker I still think they would have ended up being harassed by that crazy cop at some point. This is one of the better horror remakes I remember feeling stressed out throughout the movie and even though Id seen the original several times this kept me on the edge of my seat. This is a great video pointed out somethings I did not pick up on,

This is one of those horror movies where you say to yourself “Oh-that can really happen”. It’s why it’s one of my favorite horror movies.

It’s also made all the more sad because obviously the boyfriend was going to propose to her but she was also strongly hinted at as being pregnant. In the conversation among the group before the hitchhiker shows up they offer her beer and pot and she refused stating she’s nauseous, they ask if she’s doing ok because she’s nauseous, she says she is fine, they ask if it’s something she ate or drank, one of the others points out she barely ate anything and only drank bottled water on their trip. All of this strongly points to her knowing she’s pregnant and taking measures to protect the fetus growing inside her.

@@vince3523 not necessarily. It is true that stress and trauma may increase the risk of a miscarriage (what you mistakenly called an abortion) but it’s not a sure thing. Lots of women go through horrific ordeals and still carry a healthy baby to term.

Imagine if you went through this and you see a car, you want to get help and get away but cinima summary pulls up and analyses you only to drive away without you

Wouldn't shooting your own friends in the leg be a detriment, if they cant run they aren't a priority you are, if I was the killer and my goal was 100% completion I'll focus the guy who can get away before the few who can't. What you'd be better off doing is telling them all to hide while you booked it. The killer would be more focused on finding and chasing them, especially if you move in a stealthy manner.

This was actually the first movie I saw with Sergeant R. Lee Ermey. Honestly , his character creeped me out more than any other in the movie. The dialogue he uses while getting the dead body is so disturbing.He was an amazing actor and I have seen his other films since then. However, this character still freaks me out even as an adult!

Same. Especially without telling him what genre it is. Imagine it's not a movie that poses a threat to the characters. In the Context of a horror movie it's always easy to make decisions or suggestions what to do, but that context is much harder to recognize in real life 😅

Like the girl walking - I'd not have picked up on her short steps, straight back, no sweat. Only looking back could I have figured out that something was up.

@@danielsemakula1526 this movie I agree. There's tons of other instances though where clues would probably go unnoticed by the audience (including him) during the first viewing. For example in his how to be "Hostel", one clue that something was wrong was a picture where the foreground and background were in focus. I ASSUME that he only noticed after viewing the movie for a second (or more) time.

Hey. At least in the movie. Bubba didn't camp the man on the hook.

Character breathes Cinema Summary: He shouldn't have done that, he first should have made sure no one was around to hear him, cover his mouth so he's only letting air out quietly through his nose, take shorter breathes lasting 500 milliseconds, and cover his eyes so the killer can't see the light bounce from his retinas.

picture this: let's say you home alone, and you live in one of those 3 or 4 story suburban neighborhood houses. No one is home but you and your dog ( if you got one ). Your mom, or girlfriend or whoever you live with isn't there right now, it's night time. And then all of sudden your dog starts barking, you try to see what he's barking at, but you don't see anything, so then you just ignore the dog and go upstairs for about 20 min. and then you come back down stairs and THERE'S LEATHERFACE WITH A CHAINSAW. ( you have no gun or you only have 3 bullets left) What would you do to survive?

@@designertonio5801 i would rush into my bedroom block the door with a heavy thing or big thing and its probably like 2nd story or so? so i will grab the blanket and make it a rope climb out of the window and run after runnning far away i will call the cops and tell my family to not go to the house or be near it as theres a wild person with a chainsaw inside it to convince the cops i will need to go to the police station and tell them the situation
