Freddy is definitely the toughest horror movie monster to beat. But to me, the solution has always been easy. Dream Warriors showed the best way to beat Freddy. Is for everybody to enter the dream at the same time.. and gang up on him. You have to be absolutely certain , not to get split up. This is taking four and five out of the equation. This feels like the best way to beat Freddy. Everybody attacking him all at once. Showing that they’re not afraid. Freddy has power, but you do to. The power of bravery. Let your imagination run wild.

The parents are just awful in this, especially Nancy's mom. How did she not earn a "you F'd up!" rant?

Honestly, if I would happen to know that an evil spirit of a murderer could temper with reality through dreams, I would immediately try to benefit from this and make some sort of a deal with it. I would offer to spread information about Krueger beyond the Elm street, across different towns, so he would get more power from fear that will boil up fast. For this I would ask him to target specific people that have information which can benefit me. He would extract the info I need from my people of interest in their dreams or even make them do specific things in real life in exchange for their own safety. Soon after. I would become amongst the most influential people on the planet with first hand insider information about anything I need. With all gained resources I will buy a whole menu of living people just for Freddy, so he could choose whatever he prefers. Eventually everything will be so cool that me and Freddy will become BFF and reign over both real and dream worlds, and live happily ever after.

A high possibility to be never forgotten and always feared by the whole world. With enough power and influence I could even create some kind of a cult of him, so that he would be viewed as some sort of a God. Maybe he will actually be grateful enough to make me an immortal evil spirit with powers similar to his :D Because he will murder me eventually in the end, I just need to find a solution on how to fight him or neutralize against myself or become his dream Bro :D

Im 45 now. When i was a kid i went to a haunted house on Halloween in ohio. The real Freddy Krueger was there. Robert England. I walked through laughing at Leatherface and Michael Myers. But when i seen the Hollywood production set and watched Freddy drag a girl through a bed i freaked out. He came over to the crowd and put his knife hands right up to my face. I was hiding behind my uncles leg screaming. Afterwards i meet him without all the makeup on. Probably the most terrifying experience of my childhood.

Went to a Halloween haunted house when I was a child, this demonic character jumps out suddenly in front of you & growls at you. Well, the son of a biatch in the demonic costume got a face full of sand in both his eyes & I forcefully pushed him in the chest while he was screaming for help to flush his eyes with water. The pathetic demon went crashing feet in the air backwards bringing down the whole haunted room prop crashing to a laughable silent wtf just happen moment. “Yeah, my first natural reaction to that situation was to kneel down & grab a handful of sand since the prop was built on a sandy parking lot & throw it at the danger stranger.”

My favorite Freddy movie was The Dream Warriors because when I realize that I'm dreaming I actually have some level of control over the dream. So Freddy would try to mess with me and I'd be like "your fingers are hot dogs" and then he'd have to try to fight me with hot dog hands while I'm RoboCop.

I mean yeah that could work but only for how long your body can last. Honestly the best way to beat Krueger is by getting your hands on some rem sleep represssion pills like the drug hypnocil that exists in the noes verse too take and to make sure that you erase any info you know about or have on Freddy Krueger’s existence because there’s been multiple situations we’re Freddy’s victims that know of the urban legend of Freddy end up getting attracted to the dream killer in the long run. And so, some reassuring tactic things you could do is like reading a book, watching a comedy movie to lighten up the mood in your mind to take the fear away from your own consciousness and forget all about him being in your life etc, or just move away from the area Freddy’s power is in like the state of Ohio in which he is present in that area with peoples dreams and move on with a new life and just getting away from it all.

I heard a theory abt the ending in this film and it makes a lot of sense tbh; since the mom already died earlier in the film, this is most likely just a "flashback" to what *she* saw in her dream before dying. So yeah, i think nancy did in fact beat freddy in this one! (not saying he aint coming back, but she should be safe at least, lol)

8:10, I don't agree with this. Freddy can appear in your dreams no matter how you change your sleep schedule or what you do before bed. You cant necessarily wake up either, as knowing it's a dream won't stop the dream, but it will make it even worse as Freddy would take advantage of your panicked state and would feed on that. If Freddy wanted to, he could chain you preventing you from hurting yourself or tie your leg to a ball and drop you in a endless sea. He's simply playing with his food. Your best bet is to play along and put up a good fight so he won't end up killing you fast enough for you to figure out how he works and how to beat him.

8:35 Spoil Alert for Dream Master: Kristen tried changing her dream to something less scary and did succeed thanks to her friend Alice's advice but Freddy was still able to turn the dream to his advantage to attack Kristen before litterally pulling her back into a nightmare scene.

Fun facts: For the sparks, the glove was hooked up to a car battery; Freddy doesn't make an appearance until 41 minutes into the film; The deaths for Tina and Glen were accomplished using a rotating room.

If I suspect I'm having a nightmare or dreaming I try to read something. Writing is rarely legible in dreams and, even when it is, it changes when you look away. If text is weirdly difficult to understand or looks jumbled you're dreaming. Or dyslexic.

Realistically to beat Freddy in this movie you would have to get rid of R.E.M cycles some how which causes you to dream.

I think your best bet when up against Krueger would be to look into how to do lucid dreaming so you can have a more level playing field against him in your dreams. Since you'll have just as much control as he does if you can pull it off.

I agree, this is the best avenue. It's not enough to know you're dreaming. You have to practice controlling it. Once you can do that, you can change locations like changing channels, summon or banish items, anything.

Lucid dreaming has been done, several times actually, and Freddy can clearly counter it. Come up with something better!

I would actually try to pull things from the real world into my dream. Like, I would fall asleep in rollerskates to make a quick escape, and wearing a jacket filled to the brim with objects that can be used as weapons, and tape crucifixes in the inside of my jacket because Freddy's a demon. I would even sew "You are dreaming" on my clothes.

How to beat Freddy? For starters, you can take away his plot armor. Since he was killed off most the movies and he was currently killed off in Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, obviously, his plot armor has a time limit.

Okay, I'm listening.

The only way to stop Freddy would be to be prescribed a drug similar to hypnocil (if a drug like that exists in real life) and to not mention Freddy at all. Those two things combined defeat Freddy if dreams are blocked while also getting sleep and all existence of Freddy is removed it'll be like he doesn't exist. Freddy can't hurt you if you don't fear him and you can't fear him if you don't know that he exists thus taking away his power.

Definitely would find a way to negotiate with Freddy, prolly wouldn't work but wouldn't hurt to try lol

Its actually very easy to defeat him. I once had a dream with him in it and I could tell he knew I knew who he was. So he proceeds to kill everyone but me. Probably because since I knew who he was, I knew it was a dream and knowing its a dream gives you the same power he has there.

Drawing smarter weapons or biblical words on notbook, then grabbing the page out of notebiok. Put it under your pllow or put it on your heart when you are sleep. If i was in a dream, I use a paper like Luz. I made it into a real powerful weapon. I use a phatnom thermos easy to sucking Freddy because he is demon as a ghost. I know Dan have a crazy power but he can't free out of the thermos. And the wisdom: Ask Lord God because He is bigger more than Freddy.

Cannabis is a dream supressant, i havent had a dream in years or atleast one i could remember. I always wanted them to address that fact in the nightmare series. Instead we got psychedelic nintendo freddy and alice in wonderland worm freddy.

In 2023, could Freddy be able to get any teenagers? There’s Tik Tok and Snapchat etc. they’d be too busy staring at their phone, even in their sleep to not be scared of him. You know what, I think I just gave Freddy an idea to get teens. Oops 😬
