✿ Hey everyone! It’s Gina from orchidandopal.com. In this video I will show you how to make a beaded bead with glass and crystal rondelles, and round seed beads. We'll then add them to a segment of wire, with additional beads on either side, and configure wire-wrapped loops. In doing so, we will recreate the beaded links I shared previously, which were made from contents of the September 2022 Bargain Bead Box subscription (Sign up: bit.ly/2EGlCyj | Coupon: OPAL2). Please see below for the list of materials:

✿ Credit: Artists spend countless hours on their designs from concept to completion. I have the utmost respect for other artists, and the time/energy behind their original designs. I will always make a point to give credit where credit is due because I expect the same in return. Of course, in some rare circumstances, artists' beading designs may overlap in certain ways; after all, there are only so many combinations in which beads may be put together. It's possible for artists to simply “be on the same wavelength.” "Great minds think alike," and all that. :)

However, there's so much more work that goes unseen. I state this to let you know (1) how passionate I am about what I do, and (2) as a fellow human, I make mistakes, and do the best I can while also trying to maintain a work-life balance. I always strive to thoroughly research topics, educate myself, and present you with the most accurate content, to the very best of my ability. Thanks for joining me on this creative journey!

I've been so looking forward to this tutorial! Thanks, Gina! I think the biggest thing I learned from this is to trust the creation process. If I had started out as this does, with lots of looseness and space between the first two rounds of beads, I'd think, 'Nah, this isn't working out. It'll never be anything." Then I'd either rip it out, or more likely set it down and leave it laying around for years as a failed but possibly still promising UFO. But you kept going, fixed all the early problems, gave it a solid foundation, and ended up with something really beautiful! Also, using the bead cap "backwards", as a crown...just a simple twist brings so much to the finished design. Love it! Love you!😘💜

Thank you for this tutorial! I have been mystified by beaded beads and I had not seen a tutorial like yours until just now. I ended up making a really elegant pair of earrings and I'm just over the moon. Thank you so much! I'll likely make a necklace, too, but for now I just love my earrings! 😊😊😊

I love all your creations. Have made this for a friend for her birthday. She seems to wear it every time I see her. Thank you for your concise instructions. You are a very creative woman. Oh I forgot I made her the ear rings from one of the beaded beads, and of course my self as well.
