    great video, thanks so much! I love how you did the chain. I just bought a bunch of new and various size jumprings so this helps alot. I have been making a few of my necklaces with no clasp, I just make it long enough to be able to put it over ones' head. Saves on buying clasps. Again thanks for the video, love them all.

    These are fun and fast to make! Thanks for the great demo. I don’t have bicones cuz they tend to be too sharp on my skin, so I used what I have on hand, IE 6/0 in place of bicones, 8/0 in place of your 11/0 and 11/0 in place of your 15/0. I also started with only 5 right angle weave units. Bead ended up more barrel shaped, which is what I want for my current project. I’m making a necklace with leather strung beaded beads, including some tubes made with 8/0 and some tubes with 11/0 in tubular Peyote. The beads I’m making based on your tutorial will be a nice shape and size variation. Thanks again. So glad I found your channel and this tutorial.

    Hi. First time watcher and first time seeing twisted herringbone with only 4 columns. Great tutorials on the beads. I am just finishing a silver regular herringbone and want to add beads. Will use more bicones so the hole is larger. Can I say I love you leave your mistakes in! We learn from that too. And makes you more like me. A not perfect perfectionist.

    I got hooked on those beaded beads a couple of weeks ago. I am going to try your version as soon as I get some 3 mm beads as it looks easier than some that I have attempted. I've never tried twisted herringbone before either so I'm going to give that a shot today.

    I was wondering if you could use 4mm bicones and/or firepolish and rondelle beads. THANKS letting us know. If you are using 4mm beads (bicones, firepolish or rondelles) would you still use 15's for the picot?

  • @Jenniferbiedermannjewelry

    @Jenniferbiedermannjewelry

    8 жыл бұрын

    +CyberTrainer hi there and thank you for your question. you can definately use 4mm bicones or rondelles whatever suits your fancy. I would use the 15/0 sbs it will cinch everything together nicely. you can try 11/0 for the picots too however the hole will be bigger. try both and see what look you like. designing is a process of testing if it fits or not. there are no mistakes its what you like. if what you tried doesnt work take it a part and try again. when i design i usually have to take it apart a couple of times. goodluck!!! would love to see what you come up with my fellow artist.

    Love your side-by-side!! Hmmmm.... Since white is the accumulation of color, stands to reason it'd show brilliantly through clear! Weird how reason says to use white with clear.... The green is perfect! In some cases, the smoke will mute to the colors around it, as well. Thanks for the video!

Thank you so much I enjoyed making this sort of like a Pandora beaded bead? ..Merry Christmas

    I'm so happy I saw your video. I'm usually very intimidated to try any beaded beads that are as beautiful as your tutorials but after viewing this one, your instructions are actually easy to follow and I can't wait to make many of these and other styles, so thank you very much Jennifer. There is one thing I would like to mention though, if you don't mind. Is there another way that you could zoom in/out that would make it clearer? I ask this because I did have to keep taking my eyes off the screen because I was getting bad headaches and my eyes hurt. Thank you again for this video.

    Hi! I just wanted to say this, cause I thought it's cute: I started making this beaded bead, but when I was finished I was not satisfied so I wanted to take it apart and try again. But as I started to cut the stitches, I saw something: I cut the thread on one side, removed the inner circle of 11/o's, the last row of beads that you add, so the picots are 'opened', it looks like a cupped flower! It is so cute! I am thinking I should make a couple and try making some earrings :) That Said, I love this tutorial though, the beads look so luxurious and expensive :)

My beads will not fit on the rope. I made the rope with 11/0 and the beads per your instructions. Wondering if anyone else had the issue and what you suggest? I will need bigger holes in my beaded bead. Thank you again for the video, It is certainly a fun bead to make.
