My friend said I was an emberrasment for my loud talking... I used to be too quiet and everyone thought I was serious and boring, but I got out of my shell and it appears it burst not gracefully but instead shattered into pieces. I can still be really quiet but I don't really control it, I'm passionate about almost everything, and I come off as impulsive. Thoughts? I want to be silent again. Even if people thought I was boring, it was better than whatever I am now. Edit: For those who resonate with this - consider autism.

That bad thing is that when your talkative, people will listen and take the words you said, twist them, and turn them into something completely opposite of what you said and tell everyone their version just to try to make you look bad. People a lot times dont want to hear what you have to say, they want to take what you say and use it to talk badly about you to others. People feed off one another's pain. This doesn't happen always but sadly it's more common than you'd imagine. Sit back and watch, and those people that make you feel bad about yourself will slowly begin to turn on each other. Never stop being you for anyone or anything

Being silent is golden especially if you are a person with good morals and character. Just sit back and watch people they tell on themselves and show their true character and morals. Majority of humans don't have morals or character. Shady, gossiping, lying, backstabbing you name it, I am a naturally quiet person and I don't fool with people period! Too many shady snakes for me!!!!!! Especially females!!!!! I be by myself and love every bit of it.

I'm currently workin on strengthening my silence, mainly due to a lot of fake and negative ppl I encountered my whole life and currently. So I'm resuming daily dose of meditation. It not only helps me learn from my mistakes and reflect on good memories, but it mainly helps me tackle negative situations and be prepared for the worst. Not to mention it teaches me being quiet is a great thing. I guarantee you, the more u do it, the more you'll learn, grow, and develop as Life goes on. U necessarily don't have to keep your eyes closed the whole time, and other factors too like writing in a daily journal, drawing, workin on a song, etc, all of these assist with finding who you are. So everyone start askin yourself "Who are you?" and I guarantee you'll be rewarded. Patience is key here and it's worth it. Good luck everyone!! 😇👍🏿

I learned how silence is important. I’m going to learn how to remain silent around people. I’m an introvert while talkative. It is an oxymoron. I will practice these skills in my future human interactions. Initially, it will be extremely difficult. However, everything is a major adjustment. I learned that most people talk about things that I don’t even like, so I will be in less conversations. Maybe, I can get more stuff done including being around more knowledgeable people.

Have to say ..un predictability caused by this silence is a powerful and lethal weapon

It’s always better to listen more and talk less, since taking knowledge is better than giving away knowledge, and you’ll also know what to say and what not to say. It also makes your words more impactful to others also shows others that you’re willing to listen, which they will also mirror when you speak. The only disadvantage is people will also try to find fault in your words.

I used to be very quite and now I want to go back. Everyone thought I was serious but inside my head I was having hella fun observing everything. I was always quiet in every situation in life. No matter how fun the environment I was in, I was still really quite. Now that I am getting older I felt the need to get out of my shell and be more outgoing and talkative but turns out that I just notice everybody doesn't want to do anything with me anymore. Nobody asks questions about my life like they used to. Nobody would invite me to place like they used to. Nobody calls or texts me first like they used to. All because I felt the need to be "extroverted." I think what's best in life is just be who you are and just vibe.

It's mainly because of my friends, and luckily I've realized that they weren't taking me seriously and not understanding that sometimes I'm sad too, and took me for granted. Now, If I want to be quiet, they think I'm mad. Even if I'm quiet, they still talk rubbish and expect me to respond. 1. How to explain to them that I'm not mad, just want to be silent. 2. How to try to distance myself from them, since they're those "popular" girls.

i'm watching this becuase I found myself presenting myself to my clients with alot of flowery words and turns out not everyone wants it Trying to learn using less words but are meaningful and direct.

Most of us think that quiet people were "shy, rude or arrogant" but that is not right. But in reality, people who talk more are tend to be egoistic 😌. I understood this when the quietness within me begins slowly since from my 20's. Nowdays i also love to be alone.

I keep to myself at times so people don't have to hear me. Peaceful for them and less awkward for me.

as a sociopath i find myself often predicting conversations and making responses or guessing what somebody is going to say in response to me before they say it, sometimes even saying things to illicit a certain response. recently i noticed that all of my conversations are just vessels for something else i all of the sudden dont feel like i have had an actual conversation for conversation’s sake maybe ever, or at least in a long time. i think im gonna give some silence a try and hopefully it will make my social interactions more meaningful in a way. i didnt know there was something missing till now but i hope i can find it.

As a talkative person myself; someone who has been the 'Kevin' in the situation too many times, it's something im not proud of but I enjoy discourse. I want to find a way that I can remain talkative when appropriate, and silent when appropriate.

I NEED THIS!!! 😂 I'm always talking a lot while playing basketball with people I just met Lol! I already know about self awareness/control but starting for now I will mainly focus into it. But I don't know, people already know my personality being like that and most of the time my words hurts them where I found guilty like the dude on the animation, it is hard to change your personality in front of the people you already met but I guess I'll give it a try and idc if they'll be confuse asf bc of a quiet version of me. Btw thanks for making this video! 👌

I don't feel as though I talk a lot. Sometimes I get really frustrated by others that I feel overly talk. Because they do tend to just run their mouth just to be saying something, and don't have anything meaningful to add to the conversation. I rarely talk on the phone or text anyone. Idk. I don't think I'm a Kevin at all.

It's always everytime, i talk, everyone just go silent, and if someone is talking they respond at least a small words but for me, they're just empty and silent so I'll do now is to keep being silent. If someone asked me questions, i just answer it like a normal person and done talking.
