Thanks Mark, a video that's still very relevant. Good work. - One of my big awareness moments was when I realized the simple idea that I needed to reduce my losing trades. I focused in on that one aspect; how to reduce losing trades. - I ask myself before every trade, "is there a reason i should NOT take this trade?" It's easy to find reasons to take it, but sometimes I fade the warning signs. Now I'm seeing resistance where before I didn't, or I'm seeing extensions that i previously missed, or volume bars that don't line up... all sorts of reasons to not take a trade. - Yes, sometimes i miss a winner, but i miss a lot more losers, and it also helps my timing (right trade, wrong time scenario).

Oh, and forget about indicators, trade price action. If you need a moving average to now if the market is trending, you probably shoudn`t be trading, IMO.

Another great video . Not sure if it is common one but I have been trading with discipline and great results for a while just to thenI losing focus on a specific day and blowing up my account altogether for not wanting to cut a single losing trade and for consequently adopting revenge trading.

They also do other things they will never tell you, because none of it is about sharing but about competing ferociously. :LOL.

Really working on my stop loss position at the moment and my discipline when using them, I have stretched them when I shouldn’t and put them too tight when I shouldn’t! I need to put them in, and if it goes against me just live with it and move on to the ones that go my way!

One of the easiest characteristics I’ve identified with profitable traders is that they spend their time in the money. Losers get cut so quick and so does that time out of the money.

the markets will humble everyone eventually

I dont believe only 10% are profitable traders since the markets trend upwards most of the time,

Trading is all about Emotional Intelligence, once your edge is learn't, you have to start performing like a consistent trader and that my friends is all about mindset,. The next step is looking for a suitable performance coach. Risk and uncertainty is the brains worst nightmare ;)

What do you think about adhering to absolute numbers? eg. When I am up $ x I will close the trade, or I will only trade from 9:00 am to 12 pm etc. or I won't make more than 3 trades a day, etc.

Someone said that the prices in forex market are produced by a mathematic equation, it means there are people ( very few ) that nows the future price of a currency pair. I tend to bellieve in that theory partially. When happens big geopolitc and economic events i think that mathematic equation doesn't work. More i bellieve that exist a formula but that formula is flexible. What i mean is that formula contain the positions and orders of retail investors and others who are not connected with the big players and thieves ( banks, hedge funds and market makers ). So, that formula is flexible to make retail investors and others loose money over and over again, so it's very unlikely make money in the market. If a retail investor open a position the market go against allways, if a retail investor put a order the market fill that order and go against the position allways. How is possible to be wrong more than 90% of the time? Forex market should be forbiden, it have been the ruin of hundred of thousands people around the world, in benefit of thieves who should be put in a court in North Korea.

SEARCHing for next trade is guaranteed to Lose! A winner has a system and WAITs for price to fall into my predetermined "trap".

Emotions have nothing to do with how the stock market works...what elements make a stock a winner. Example I bought FIZZ because everyone drinks their products. But the stock did terrible so I sold it at a loss. So how do you know is a good stock or fund? Morning Star rating?

Can't you use a better video camera?

What do winning traders do? THEY DON’T USE A STOP LOSS, they hedge and hold if they get it wrong, Use Compound interest? Use small leverage. 90% of you keep watching people like this, who if we’re successful they wouldn’t be trying to make videos to make money. I only saw this because KZread keep recommending videos to me. But I know I will just get negative comments, but do I care, no, you see I’m one of the 10% . Happy trading
