That’s what some people don’t understand his team knows he is the leader of the team and the best player on the team and that’s what makes okc so good. Everyone plays there roles.

@@doms5755 jokic and sga are extraordinarily dissimilar, time of possession per touch and playmaking tendencies aren't close to the same, jokic is probably one of the fastest advantage creation processor in NBA history, and shai's just gaining a ton of time on the ball because he (and luka) is the best change of pace dribbles in the game and is much less useful when he's not pounding the ball

some players shouldn't be ball hogs but for some guys they know the ball is more likely to go in if they shoot it themselves and its as simple as that

Missing the point. As a guy with a 30% or more usage rate he could spend his time getting more assists than 6.5 a game. He’s not calling him out on it, he’s praising the fact that Shai can get his bucks regardless of how the defense is playing him.

1st clip was very CP3 of him

Lol Shai not a ball hog. He plays well in whatever system his team needs him to play in. He just can’t be stopped & very efficient so it make sense for him to have to ball the most

honestly the best player should be a ball hog with a high iq. knowing when nothing is going and being able to draw defenders to you for an easy dish to an assist. passive stars are detriments to their teams when the pressure is on
