Thanks for this great video. I bought a new battery for my computer and used this video to install it - it took only 15 minutes! The new battery cost me $50 online. I called a local battery store and they charge $160 for a new battery and installation. Thanks for saving me $110!!!

While the instructor used his fingers to open the case, I needed to use a small screwdriver. In other videos, I have seen instructors use a small pocket knife or a metal spatula. I am grateful for this excellent video.

Often if they've been disassembled previously, they come apart faster. The first time usually takes more effort.

Excellent video, shows clearly where all the little screws are! HP factory did a crap job with my build, left out the 2 screws at the DVD drive, and teh head on one of the screws holding the battery itself was stripped.
