Your Longarm Quilting Basics series have been the most helpful to me of anything I have watched. You cover all the details that make it work. I recently bought a used frame, longarm with robotics. Because it is 10-12 years old there didn't seem to be much that applied. Because of your videos, I have a better understanding how to load the frame, I how have corsage pins, a glide foot and your side leader is an ingenious idea. Thanks so much!

Great video! I learned the hard way not to use light thread on the top and dark thread on the bottom. I spent several hours of standing and unpicking. Amazing how much longer it takes to remove stitches.

I’m new to long-arming and just getting started. I have a Simply Sixteen on a 12 foot frame. Your videos have been so helpful and I continue to watch them to reinforce the learning. I would like to try the pre-wound bobbins….could you tell me what brand works well for you?

Hi, I wanted to ask a question about your foot, when the long arm came it has the quilting/ darning free motion foot on. Tell me why you have the round foot on and why you like it better?

Thanks for the question Susan. I touch on this in one of the next videos, so be sure to keep watching. I like this foot best because it will glide over thick seams, appliqued pieces, and piecing imperfections. I keep this foot on ALMOST all of the time. I only switch it if I need to stitch closer to something or I am using rulers. Great question!

Do to remember what the name of the fabric line she used to make this quilt top and what the name of the pattern is? Also, can you use any brand of long arm table with your longarm machine or do they have to be purchased from the same brand?

Hi Becky. I'm afraid I'm not going to be of much help today. If I remember right, Sandy was using fabric that she had for a while. She used some circle rulers to create the pattern herself. In regard to the longarm, I purchased mine together. I am unsure whether you can use any brand of table. Sorry, I know my answers are insufficient today.

Thank you so much for your reply, I know you're a busy person! I really appreciate it. Your KZread channel has become my favorite! My husband (who is an Attorney) will even take the time to watch it with me sometimes! Trust me, that's saying a lot! He loves it too! Keep doing what you're doing!

You can do it Jan! I'm from the midwest farming country, and we describe it here as "just needing more seat time". Meaning you get better at driving a tractor, the longer you are in the seat doing it. You'll get better the more you do it. Just keep practicing!
