Michael Schwartz No problem 😀
Best tutorial. Finally somebody who tells the difference between the stretch jump practice and the actual flip.
The key takeovers from this awesome video is full stretch with arms by ears and whilst tucking bring shin to your head for rotational momentum. I used to keep landing on my back without any rotation but this is great advice, thank you Wiseman!
Guys let me know the order you prefer for future tutorials - Detailed technique and then progressions up to the move or progressions just to land the move shown first with technique after?
@brunovixes

Any of those will help us, but i think detailed technique and then progressions would be more interesting! Thanks and congrats for The skills you have!

Hey Hadyn, Mark here. It might be good to do a quick summary of the basic mechanics involved in the move before going on (in the same video) to fleshing it out in more detail. Some people have short attention spans!
perfect way to make a tutorial, this can be a cool playlist Hadyn!

I have a video suggestion that I kept on looking for but didn't find. Could you make a video about a schema to tricking with what to learn to when and prerequisites in general (Kind of like the club 540 tricktionnary). Also about words mostly used and types of tricks etc.. I already know most of all that now but it was hard to find all this info in the beginning. P.S: Rock On!

That's one I already wanted to do actually. Go though terminology etc. Will do it next. Thanks.
Amazing clip thank you
So at first, the best tutorial i have seen mate, im so glad i found your channel. Really helpful advise, i can do the back tuck on the air track, but when i move to floor, im stuck, i feel that at the end of the movement i panic a little and do some strange moves with my arms (probably the landing problem). I will try to extend my arms more as i think this is very good point i havent been doing. I will apply the changes and tell you how it goes, potentially i will link some of my attempts for your check (if possible). Keep up the good work mate!
@HadynWiseman

Hey dude I hope it helps you out. It's really hard not to flip early and get your arms up when you're first learning. Yeah link me to a video and I will be happy to help you out. You can upload it here as unlisted if you like and private message me the link. Thanks.

Yo Hadyn, it's Jack from Gainsborough in Ipswich, was so dope to see what you could do and I'm loving the videos you're putting out. Would love to see some tricking tutorials!
perfect skill !
Great tut
For anyone that's still here, a good tip that really helped me was throwing the arms back just before you bend down, so as to do things in a more step by step manner opposed to doing everything all at once. Helped me with power as I was able to throw them harder and concentrate on the leg extension a bit more
I found your channel through the tornado kick tutorial, and now I can do a tornado kick. So in short, you have got yourself a subscriber and a regular visitor. I mean if I wanna learn a move you r my go to yt channel. You are a great teacher. A lot of people can do these tricks but not everyone can teach it to others. Keep up the good work bro😊👍👍

I will certainly make one at some point
Fuck yeah mate! Love it! :-)
Great tutorial, but one tip you haven't mentioned which is reckon is important is that you should take it easy and not overdo it, because it's so exciting to land it in the early days. When learning, after landing one, I was so excited I did it over and over again, failing several times and hurting my wrists, triceps and knees because I was too tired. I also strained my lower abs. So basically, take ample rest between reps during the beginner phase
What did you personally do to help with jumping high enough to do a back flip like that? That's insane height man.
@HadynWiseman
6 жыл бұрын
Hey I didn't do anything specific, just simply tricking a lot helps and I used to only trick outside. I also do some powerlifting and my jump is very similar to my deadlift technique so I think that helps a bit. Thanks
No offense Hadyn, but you're a really handsome male model. :-)

Question Can you do a backflip without tucking and do a guide on that?
so its fine on the tuck if just put my arms by the side of my legs right?
Ya this tutorial is really good thanks 👌
Where r u in uk? I will pay you to teach me.
Higher backflips tutorial? Does doing a triple backflip help you rotate faster in a backflip on grass ? And does it help with height ?
can you do the tutorial on a cork :) ?

Is it ok to practice on a matress on the floor in my room ? I struggle with going straight I end up going to the side when back flipping out of fear
@HadynWiseman

Jay Gatsby Yes but remember the mattress will mean you need to go that much higher to land it. If you can overcome the fear it will be easy. good luck
A question did u learn to do a backflip with the same technique???

Can I get a tip? so I landed a backflip flat on grass without shoes,and when I try it with shoes I rotate slower,I don't know why,it might be because it's scarier?
@HadynWiseman
3 жыл бұрын
Because you can't push through your toes as well with shoes on. Its the same for everyone
How much jump is necessary to do a back flip
@HadynWiseman
3 жыл бұрын
You can do it with almost no jump if the rest of your technique is good
thanks man 2018
i recommend to learn it on a trampoline first and then you just do it with as little bounce as possible and then you go to your to local gym and get a soft thicc mattress and on top of it you put a small hard mattress and you sart to practice on it the when your comfterable you remove the big mattress and do it on the small and then eventuallly you do it on the flooor
song?
Y
I can do a backflip on ground but have literally just learnt it and my form isn't great. I'm really struggling to get height because I throw my head back as soon as I take off instead of keeping my head neutral and looking forward. Is there any drills/tips to help correct this or is this something that just improves over time. People say to try and look at an object in the distance but I find this really scary to do.
@HadynWiseman
6 жыл бұрын
Swiftyy practice, you need to conciously change it which is just a big mental challenge rather than doing any drills as such. Just force your body to do the right thing even though it wants to revert to what feels natural.

Can you please teach how to overcome the fear without a gymnasium
Does this work ????
All I have to do is to overcome fear. I always think that I will land with my neck and like in the movies I will break it and die... xD So this fear stop me when I am in the air and I fall backwards, sometimes I lose balance and fall on my back. Sooo, yeah, I have to overcome this somehow
