Hi, Thanks for Video. I followed the same steps and took a backup from my iPhone. Later i have deleted all data from recently photos due to memory issue on next day. Later my phone went to factory settings and i dont have any where else data backup. When I approached drive expert team with in the 30days time, the restore didnt work out and also they are suggesting contact apple support. I am wonder how apple support will help here. Please let me know if you have any idea how i can retrieve those photos, which is very important to me. Thanks in advance.

Hi James, great video, and thanks! Using Google Drive - the backup from iPhone will be automatic, as it is when using iCloud? Or, I would have to backup the files manually, repeating the procedures every now and then? Also - to free space on the phone, will I need to erase the files, are they saved both locally and on Google Drive, as well? TIA!

When I get to choosing "backup" the screen that shows up is NOT what you show at time mark 1:10 so i am unable to go further. It tries to make me purchase a google account, but I already have AND I have signed in on that with email and password. HELP

useless video. i want to synchronize my files. not calendar etc. calendar has nothing to do with google drive itself.

I got the following error on the browser when I chose my google account for backup. (Drive --> Settings --> Backup --> google account). Any leads please 404. That’s an error. The requested URL /about/storage-backup?pli=1 was not found on this server. That’s all we know.
