David & David show you how to clear caches on your iPhone. A cache is an collection of data that helps speed up a website or an app. Rather than downloading the same content over and over again, the app downloads it once and stores it in a cache.
But what happens when a cache gets out of control and gets too big? We're here to help you speed up your iPhone and identify which apps, and which caches, are causing a problem on your phone.

I am a new member but I have been watching you guys for a long time. Keep doing what you are doing!! By that I mean, letting the humor be a part of what you do along with the cutting edge advice. You guys rock!!

I appreciate the work you guys do.
Thank! Always helpful and the best on KZread.
I am a new subscriber, although I have previously watched your videos. Thanks for all the information. This was great, it helped me a lot🥰
I have noticed if you go to the apple website forum and ask a question there are hundreds of people who answer all the questions I have will have 20,000 awards and accolades for answering questions but will never answer the question I have asked, they just rush to answer but really don't pay attention to the question then throw out an answer that has nothing to do with what I asked and people upvote them and saying their answer was helpful but never answer the question I asked. If I tell them that's not what I was asking they never reply or get bent out of shape. You guys are most helpful.
Thank you for all the great tips and hacks ! 😊
Excellent as always ! Cheers Mecanix

Your tips are always helpful for iPhone users. Apple should add clear Catche option which is already available in Android so that all catche data is cleared and system data remains low .

Hey Guys! I cleared the cache from several apps and even deleted some I’d never used. Thank you! Since then I have a notification from Apple about “Family Purchase Sharing Update.” Intuitively I believe I need to Stop Purchase Sharing? But, I don’t know exactly what it means and I’ve never seen this I before. Thank you in advance for your time and response!
As I watch the video I pause each step you go through to make sure I’m getting it right
Long press back on settings .. you ll b amazed
Think of cache clearing as taking your vehicle to the carwash! This should be a regular activity because phones typically accumulate a lot of unnecessary junk over time! At least, once a week is ideal!
What about cleaning up old voicemails, text messages, and deleted files that are still stored in your iphone?
Super ❤❤
Helpful!!! Have you ever deleted KZread then reinstall?
Hello there. About clearing the cache. In safari i don’t get the option to close or keep tabs. Does anyone know why?
I only have 3.2 gigs of data on my i{hone 14 Pro, so I'm good. Thx!

When deleting the cache, doesn’t that require you to enter the password and username for apps?

Any tips on Tidal and Spotify... several GB og cache no removal options
I’ve followed these tips twice & each time it’s increased my system data, before turning off it was 4.05, upon turning on again it’s 5.21, the tips before it seemed to work but as I say - the second time I’ve seen it go up not down after doing these steps :(
8:23 pls tell me where I can find pdfs of your videos I’ve been a member forever and never knew about this.
Would appreciate your teaching me how to clear all WeChat’ Moment message ? Thanks 😊

How do you clear all Outlook App cache??? Ive been trying to delete an old email I cant get into and the app constantly keeps pulling it up regardless if I delete/offload the app. And I cant find an individual cache for Outlook anywhere. Help!!
What is experimental features within safari settings?
for a mainly text-based soc media app, i dont understand why it took up about 1gb on my phone storage.
Will I be erasing the history and autofill info if a erase website data in Safari?
I don’t want to loose my history which I keep for reference so I clear safari advanced stuff but not cache. Am wrong
Don't hold on to downloaded podcasts for very long. Mine became permanent residents and there was no way to free up their storage space without deleting the app and all data. I was able to restore from backup, and even the saved episodes were there. But I deleted them immediately and a couple of new GB appeared after that.
Offloading apps and reinstalling them also helps clear Cache
What is a reasonable amount of storage for an app? Is there a certain threshold that I should look for, example under 500 MB?

consequently better android 😊😊
My system data has been spinning for at least 8 minutes and I guess it is still calculating. However, I do see a lot of apps that I have not used in three years and will definitely delete them.
I have iphone 12 and my memory is always almost full with photos and videos. I’ve been offloading apps to make space for them. But to my surprise there is 0 system data. Can you please explain what can be the reason? Thanks
Saved around 2,5 GB, thank you (The app store clearing cache didn't work)

Have a Happy Fool Day!😜
I just got rid of 43 tv of downloaded music on Spotify. I just went to the storage setting on Spotify and removed all downloads then just redownloaded all the stuff I’m listening to right now.

Love your vids but when you show the screen could you leave it up a bit longer. I end up having to pause, rewind, pause and rewind over and over to see what you are clicking on. Thanks
Even clearing cache on iOS is a headache 😂😂
When I press Settings/Cellular. I find "removed applications" still consume some data and it’s already deleted! Is it a problem? And how is it fixed it ?
I dont know how but on snapchat my cache takes 3.2gb so i guess i use it to much
I have an iPhone 13 running on iOS -7.2. I do a lot of switching between apps. I’ve been finding recently that whenever I return to an app, even when I’ve only been away from it for a few seconds, it always restarts (annoying). I think the problem is not specific to this version of iOS (it happened on the last version) nor is it specific to one app (it happens with Chrome, games, etc.). Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix?
good
It seems iOS 16.4 has solved this! My system data went from 30BG to 10BG.

Are they any difference. in iPhones sold in USA and European models?not everything is same with models sold in Swedish
I just check mine and it said I had zero KB! Is that even possible?!
I went into my iPhone 14 Pro Max with 1 TB of storage "setting" and "general" down to "System Data" and I just get a spinning gear. Would you know why? Thanks

Mine & my hubby’s also sat there & spun for the longest time but we waited for a few minutes before it finally gave us the info they had! But if you’ll wait & then do what they say, it will work! Hope this helps you out alittle bit!😊
Thanks for your hard work and sharing. You must be rolling in the bucks. Is there an app that does all or most of this automagically?
