Don’t buy gift cards at all
simple, don't buy any giftcard. no problem.
That happened yo me years ago at Target , i paid cash so i was out $700 dollars. And had to buy new gifts. Terrible Christmas that tear i think they were taking pictures of them probably while in the store or they worked at Target. Sucks when you buy them then after Christmas theyve been used pretty much the night or days after you bought them.
I bought a vanilla card and it was 0 dollars when I loaded it up to $200.00. I bought at a shoppers drug Mart store in Canada.🇨🇦.

Catfish try to get you to get gift cards for them for hundreds.
Every card they sell on racks are scammers toy not just just a gift cards.
