thank you. the relationship between the grain of the wood and the orientation of the tool head would be easy to miss. Any chance that anybody knows of s supplier in the UK?

I think this page is fairly outdated, but there are a couple of European suppliers listed. scytheconnection.com/adp/retail/catalogueOtherET.html If you can't find one, I could send you the head only for $49 plus shipping, which might run about $30. Thanks for the comment!
