If you're going to build another Bump Stop set, be aware the threaded hole spacing is different 90mm on X axis, 100mm on Y axis. I made double slot on mine so they are interchangeable.

You're lucky.. I've seen build videos on this same model where they had to put together every single bracket and screw.. They do have expansion kits for this unit that expand the work area to either 600x600 or 1000x1000. I think I will eventually get one

This is the way other cnc makers, ( Ooznest, X-Carve, etc ) should be supplying their machines. Drag chains pre-wired and most of the assembly done for you. I also like the way the controller is already set up to accommodate both spindle and laser operation. Wonder if they do a 1500 x 1500 machine?

I’ll be very interested to see how you save G codes. I had one of those for a month, I could never get the thing to cut to the size of my design. It is a very sturdy machine. But, the software is undesirable. I hope you get that thing to work

I want to purchase one of these. Which is better, this model here (Genmitsu PROVer XL 4030) or the Foxalien 4040-XE? Thanks

Good job you made the extra CNC work table. It's a very stable, solid machine. Surprisingly large footprint ratio to cutting area at least double! You going to have Double Decker CNC's? (Triple with FoxAlien machines) Or reposition everything else in your workshop? Odd how the X axis drag chain is upside down! logically should be _____) not ----)

Since you have built and reviewed several brands of CNC machines which would you recommend? I am new to cnc, I have been 3D printing and done a few projects with a oster laser . I am considering one of the smaller units, but will most likely go for one of the bigger units. Is there much quality difference between the Fox Alien and Genmitsu. Thanks for the great videos.

That a tough question because different people have different needs. For the absolute newbie, the XCarve is great. The CNC4NEWBIE is much stronger and with no belts to break and linear bearings is great for light commercial application. You can use easel with it also. You have to also consider space. Many people do not have the space for either one of these machines. That will then push you to FOXAlien and Sansmart Genmitsu PROVer XL. The FOXAlien 4040xe has belts and the Genmitsu does not. If space and budget is a concern I’d go with the 4040. The Basic edition is half the price and is good for a hobby only lightweight projects. I do like the stand alone laser by FOXAlien, the Reiner. It’s lightweight and budget friendly. I would suggest make a list of your needs and the types of projects you want to do, then consider the space you have and then the budget. Get the largest machine possible with those considerations. I find that I use different machines for different projects.

@@PawPawsWorkShop , yes its either 5-600 for xcarve upgrade but still using belts vs 1k for cnc4newbie and reaching the goal of no belts, more zaxis, more accuracy. Also, it seems a little cheaper to buy a a whole new cnc4newbie cnc 1000mm, and re-use electronics from the xcarve. Im almost sold on cnc4newbie but not sure if i need upgrade kit or whole new kit. Ill call them. Thank you ...
