Is this a clone of a Delta 31-050?
Very cool to watch it work. I've scoured the web comparing engravers and I'm thinking Sculpfun is the way to go for me.
What an elegant simple design. Excellent.
Thank you very much!
This! Jigs should be quick and simple to build, fancy and complicated can come later. I work fast and i hate to wait for star knobs and hold down clamps from Amazon
Well, I assume you approve of the very simple jig.
5:00 I like that.
Awesome! Thank you
Looking forward to MillMage for a LB-like experience for CNC design.
Yes, looking forward to it
Thank you for this video!! And thank you for all you do!
You’re very welcome. Hopefully this will help you in your next project that you want to design. Best of success to you.
Muy util
Thank you very much
Love watching you work! Great ideas, easy to listen to. I don’t have LightBurn, do you sell your SVG file?
You are the best, thanks for sharing. 😊
You are so welcome!
I was thinking of making one too for the dozens of chords I have. I'm thinking of adding 2 small blocks, and using the cnc to cut 2 "female outlets" for the plug ends to plug in to. Something to keep the cord secure without having the plug ends flopping around everywhere. Maybe give it a shot and see if it works for you?
That’s an interesting idea. Would love to see your finished project
Thank you for always sharing these videos. I enjoy learning from you.
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Sir, I have an issue with my z axis just carving up in the air. I was sent this video to calibrate the axis. The z axis was off and I have corrected it. I have also verified it is now moving the correct distance but it's still doing the same thing. I'm using easel and the offline controller. I'm at my wits end trying to fix this. Support is three days between emails. Forums on Facebook have been little help. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Hello Mark, The first two big problems are solved. It’s moving in the correct direction and it is moving the correct distance. Next, the offline controller has issues and quite frankly I do not use it any longer. That said, how are you setting the zero position? Are you using the puck or the paper method? Next, if using the puck, do you have the correct thickness of the puck in the machine? Also, is this a new issue that just started or are you new to the CNC and have yet to get it to run correctly? I know this is a lot of questions but hopefully we can get you up and running.
@@PawPawsWorkShop I have been using the machine since February with relatively few problems until out of the blue it started doing this air carve thing. I use paper method when setting the zero. I don't have a reliable internet connection in my workshop so the offline controller was a godsend. I can possibly move the machine outside in the next day or so to where I have a decent internet connection and try directly from the computer but it all depends on the weather. What do you advise. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
This is a fantastic jig. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful! You’re very welcome.
Can you use blue or red tempura paint or does it have to be black?
Yes, it may work. I use black because I know it works well and I have it readily available. The red and blue should work. You mainly need a point that the laser can focus on
Thank you. This is the best tutorial I have come by!
Thank you so very much.
What brand bit are you using? It isn't working for me maybe its my bit?
I have three bits, all are different brands. What is the problem that you are having with the keyhole slots?
@@PawPawsWorkShop They make an oval at the start
ok I will keep trying. I LOVE your videos and explanations. I'm Going to try the 3D pumpkin carve soon
It should. To carve an oval. The bit should plunge straight down into the material. Is something loose? The toolpath should be a straight line.
I know this is old but very few things need 16th accuracy so most of the time we call out measurements in 8ths and instead of feet we say the inch mark for faster call out. Example would be 78 and 3 which would be six foot six and three eighths.
As long as your crew is aware of how measurements are being called it will work just fine.
I got the wrong "R button" do you have a file.i could burrow by any chance?
Thank you so much! This was such an easy step by step video to follow 💕🥹
You're so welcome! So glad that is was helpful
I would love a file to cut on my laser! Exactly what my husband is looking for.
Hope the file works for you. Enjoy.
Very helpful thanks
You're welcome!
Thank you! I just used your video to help me assemble mine!
Awesome! Enjoy, they are a lot of fun and very useful
Thank you! I am going to try this for my dad! Great idea!
Wonderful! Please do as it helped my wife considerably
Good call, Paw Paw! Just bought one today. Only £19,99 from A mazon. And a couple rolls of 28x600cm bags. £12.99. Will also serve for many other things too. Not just food LOL. Wish I'd got one sooner. Thanks for sharing, mate. Much appreciated. 👍👍
Thanks bro!!!
Happy to help. Thanks for watching
Great video you got me wanting to have a go myself many thanks
Go for it! Thank you for watching my videos
I have the P2 but watching the video on how to assemble the RA2 was just what I needed. Now to watch another video on how to use it with my P2. Thank you Paw Paw
You're welcome! So glad that my videos helped you
Incredibly useful video.
Glad to hear that! Thank you very much
Great stuff. Thanks
Glad it was helpful! You’re very welcome
Looks like it could be a handy addition for light trimming. I wonder if a spare battery is available and replacement chains?
I notice there is another router lift on that website for $135 vs the one you show in this video for $335. Any opinion of that router lift? It appears to have similar components. It claims to fit my router for $200 less. Should I shy away from it?
You sir are a genius
Thank you very much. Glad this video helped you.
Hello, Mr. but I have a big problem with the rotating roller. Last Thursday I got 2 SCULPFUN. products, and to this day I barely use the rotating roller. Since when using it, the rollers do not rotate as much as the glass that is placed on top. Even the band doesn't tour, and stays in the same place. I removed the belt to leave the engine on its own, but it continued doing the same thing. Is there a solution? Does it have something to do with the A/B Line Cables? I am looking forward to your response.
So the purpose is to make sure and have the bit touching the surface that your cutting and your spot on every time. Correct??
Yes, that is correct. You must tell the machine where it is exactly
Yes, this tell the machine exact where the tip of the bit is located on the z axis
68 in a woodclass. So embarrassed i could not read/ cut my wood. So been watchling lots of video..NOW I UNDERSTAND.. and yes i am not only one in class seniors.
Well done. Learning is always exciting. Thank you for watching
Love your videos! Thank you!
Glad you like them! You’re very welcome
I think that if you use 4 screws at the corners you will solve the fixing better. thanks for sharing the video
Thank you for your suggestion.
Best videos!!! Thx again!!
Glad you like them! You’re very welcome
Very nice video Sir. Thank you for instructing us on the craft.
It's my pleasure. Thank you for watching
Can you show the whole touch plate and how it was made. How to??
I have a related video attached showing the process. Thanks for watching
When I was a carpenter from 1978 to 1997, I never once remember any carpenter not being able to read a freaking tape measure. That is 19 years. What is happening in our schools?
That’s a very good question. Look at all of the comments of the people that I have helped with this one video. Yes, this is a problem and yes, people are eager to learn.
Why the paint, is it a reaction, can’t be done without?
The titanium oxide that is in the paint is the key element. Yes, the laser reacts to this chemical
@@PawPawsWorkShop thank you!!
Very informative Paw Paw! I'd like to send a thank you gift from time to time, but I didn't see a PayPal pick
Thank you very much. In the description there is a PayPal link. Also, on the home page you will see a PATREON link and it says one other link. That also is the PayPal link. Again, thank you very much.
Better yet use some black Crafting Cardstock to replace your black paint. Much easier, less work with no clean up and cheaper.
Ok, something to try
Nice video, thx for sharing.
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you liked it
Simple and easy to make without complex carpentry.
Yes, true, thank you very much. It’s not the traditional way to build but it is great for beginners who want great results with simple methods
👍👍
Thank you very much
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you very much
