@@alyssahernandez7696 I have a very small car and found that it fits. You have to put the front chair forward a lot for it to fit in rear facing mode tho. You can see the fit in part 2 where I show you how install it in the car (kzread.info/dash/bejne/eqyA1s-voLSefqQ.html)

I regret buying this puzzle of a car seat lol The instructions that come with the seat are terribly complicated. I wish I would of just bought a different seat for each baby phase. Is the harness supposed to go through the gray hooks on the side of the headrest? The instructions only show that being used with the car's shoulder belt. Compare pgs 69-70 with pg 55

Thanks for the help. This was great. So as my baby get taller, I adjust the headrest up so the straps also go up? I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the straps to sit right on my babies shoulders

The shoulder straps will automatically go up when you raise the head piece!

Extremely helpful. Thank you for the video. Can the seat recline when it's facing forward? I bought it thinking I could recline it to support my 2 year old toddler's neck when he falls asleep.

I still can’t remove the cover to fit change to from rear facing to front! Those snaps are hard to.. please help

Yes you can, just make sure to use the body pillow insert :)

What's the point of the shoulder hooks, is that for an infant only? I'm having a really hard time fitting my 8 month old into this seat, it seems like there just isn't enough slack in the harness and he's really uncomfortable. Also, it seems like the final sitting position is less than 90 degrees with the base fully locked in, but the previous carseat was more of a 95-100 degree angle. He looks scrunched up and uncomfortable as H**l. Wondering if I'm the only one that's having these issues.

The shoulder strap hooks are to hook the shoulder straps in place, so that when you are putting the baby in the straps will be out of the way instead of getting stuck under the baby's body. About the baby not fitting, maybe you need to get rid of the body pillow if you are still using it. About the angle, I'm not sure I understand what the problem is. by final sitting position do you mean the booster seat mode?

@@sweetiesembly9883 I think he’s just to big for the shoulder straps, once I removed them from the hooks, I had enough slack in the straps. For the sitting position, all the pads are removed, he’s mostly at a 90 degree, but his face is angled slightly more towards his feet than his previous Evenflo car seat, like if you sat in a chair and leaned forward to look at your feet.

After reaching out to Evenflo since we bought it directly from their site, they wanted me to send them videos of me installing it and putting our child in, and even though their policy is that no returns and even though it was taken out of the box, they said they would allow a one time exception. I was kind of disappointed in everything they wanted me to do, and unfortunately the cheapest shipping was about $80 to return it to them at my expense. If anyone isn't sure if this works for them, I'd highly recommend buying it from somewhere that has a friendly return policy instead of them directly. We checked out a closely priced Graco and then settled on a Graco 4Ever DLX and our baby is super happy. It was so much easier to put in for rear facing as well. It was also around $100 more, but after using each, the Graco is definitely superior and worth reviewing if you haven't already. Thanks for the tips along the way!

I've been scrounging the internet trying to find a solution but no one else seems to be worried about it. I wonder if it's installed properly? He clearly expressed his discomfort and it makes me feel really bad for him when we don't have another option :(

I tried to pull off the seat cover from the bottom and immediately broke all four plastic tabs holding the cover in place. I wish I never allowed this $350 curse on my family.

I believe that at 4 years old you would probably use the booster seat mode but strap the child in with your car's seatbelt. You should double check that with your manual however.

Don’t buy this car seat it sucks looks cool but trust the child is very uncomfortable while sleeping and the car seat doesn’t secure unless you latch the top but dose nothing to help the child head or neck while sleeping and I feel bad I have to wait to get more money to buy another car seat and this car seat wasn’t cheap but their safety is number one comfort is number two:(

I just purchased it and I dont understand why you are the only comment I've come across regarding how uncomfortable the seating is for the child. I took it out of the box, got it ready, and had my kid sit in it before putting it in the car. She instantly started crying. Its very very very upright with no give and bulky. I am returning it right now as I write this comment. Do not buy this car seat!

That car seat is complicated for no reason.

I hate this car seat it has been the worst one I've ever owned

This seat is a piece of garbage on multiple levels. The best advice I could give any parent is to never buy it and support their competitors. Worst thing in the world.

My recline handle fell off. Anyone know where the springs go to fix it back?
